Blade dancers can survive a sticky grenade.

Ain't that some shit.

Those grenades are fucked. They are supposed to be magnetic, but I have seen it go straight THROUGH enemies, NPC and Human. I've seen it go right over the target's shoulder and hit the ground behind them. It's a crapshoot tossing one out.

This thread is moving too fast, so maybe it's been answered already, but...

If I join one of the factions (i.e. Future War Cult), do I stop earning Vanguard points/marks/level? Is Vanguard considered a faction, or is it always there regardless?

Yeah, it takes forever to grind the levels. I'm almost to 2 after a few days of straight bounties.

They need to improve the rewards for missions that demand travel time. I also abandon missions if I gotta go far cuz I know there are tons that are just about killing enemies... Which is easier and faster. BUt also repetitive

It feels so goooood to get your first one!

And top of that, it's my favorite kind of weapon! Today is going to be a great day 😁😁😁

Do we know when the "week" is over for vanguard and crucible points? I'm at 70 points out of 100 for this week, but had no time to play this weekend and today. Hope I don't have to start all over. Too many frustrating matches with shit teammates.

I really don't think we have to restart from 0, I think the totals accumulate? Some weapons require 150 crucible marks and since the weekly cap is 100 I would assume they get carried over. At least, I hope :D

If you wear a faction item the vanguard reputation you would have gotten is transformed into reputation for the faction you've chosen to wear.

It's a weekly of 100 points, it doesn't reset. You can just get 100 of each per week. And it resets on Tuesday morning around 5:00 AM EST (The same time your bounties resets)

I'm noticing some Blade Dancers are speccing for armor instead of speed and recovery... I'm considering doing the same. The speed is definitely important but more and more people are learning to drop everything in order to kill a blade dancer.

The speed is REALLY good though. Hard to imagine giving up the advantages of being the fastest person in the match.

Hey, anyone know whether or not the drop rate is dependent on level/mission? I'm considering just booting up one of the missions that have Vex Gates and farming those when I get home.

I fucking love this game.

People just like to act like kids sometimes. They love the game too or they wouldn't compain so loud.

I find this statement to be extremely true. I personally am loving the game, but holy shit do I have a lot of complaints.

I think the more you love a game, the more critical you are about it. Makes sense

So I've maxed out my crucible ranks for the week. And when I can get more I can use them to buy more armor that looks the same as the shit I have now :( I don't understand why they limit how many ranks you can get. Why not let people grind? I'm being punished for playing too much or something? It's not even like 100 marks can buy me much.

Why is crucible rep progress so slow? I've done so many matches and all available bounties and I'm only like 1/3rd the way through rank 1. Once I finally get rank 2 who knows if the armor I could buy would even be worth it at that point.

I really like the PVP, more so now that i'm > level 20. Your gear/abilities/perks really do make a huge difference even if damage is evened out across weapon types. The PVP does not start to feel balanced until you're leveled up.

I know some people are disappointed in this game but I feel like the consensus among what needs to be improved will allow Bungie to really focus and get it right.

Sunsinger doesn't feel nearly as effective as it should be as far as group buffs are concerned. Not nearly as good as Defender Titan.
It doesn't even buff supers. Defenders practically hand out candy while covering and buffing the entire team.

I've been saying since beta that Warlocks are gimped.

is it not possible to play couch coop or vs in the crucible? My son had some friends over and though they could play together ( VS Halo Style), but for the life of me I couldn't get it to work.

Finally got unbanned!

I am level 26, have completed the lvl 28 nightfall strike, and ready to get raiding tomorrow.
General availability is around 2100 PST to 100 PST.

PSN is PuppyPumper if anybody wants to add me.

1. Maxed out my Gunslinger last night. Stoked.
2. Haven't gotten any Legendary yet.
3. Got a badass handcannon from the crucible last night. Higher base damage than my last one, but 2 less rounds. Ah well. All the stats are pretty much exactly the same.

Nah, since you have to sign in with your specific Guardian, there won't be any split screen. It is a Halo game that isn't like Halo.

So after hitting 20 what's the best way to get your light up?

I've seen people with like 3-4 exotics, is that just from strikes and what not?

Please, you have an instant life steal that fills you up. Titan only have a power that trigger health regen, warlock regain it instantly, your almost not down able with your fiery wings if you take the talent to soak more damage or you just rez and grenade again with the talent that your grenade come off cool down upon dying. And with Song of the Flame when my friend pop it I can chug 3 almost 4 grenade during the duration of his ultimate, it's pretty strong. They could buff the radius of Song of Flame a bit at least for PvE I understand how OP it would be in PvP if it covered a large area.

So after reading this thread a bit I'm guessing it's pretty useless doing anything but story missions until you're at least level 20, right?

A person cannot equip 3-4 exotics. Max is 1 weapon and 1 armor piece.

Best way is to farm strikes or do any engram/chest farm to get blues.

Eventually you get all your armor pieces as level 20 blues and you will be around 24. Then you get lucky with legendary or buy some legendary from getting rank 2 in vanguard/crucible.

When you get 13 strange coins you can buy an exotic from the weekend npc.

Not at all, pvp is good exp, especially with bounties.

I just don't get excited about Legendary Engrams anymore. I am broken.

I'd still like to see my first.
