It could have been for the auto rifle, there has to be something besides 2 shards. Those are standard for every phase, not in the loot pool for consuming mouldering. Every KF weapon and armor can drop from consumed shards, as well as exotic armor (maybe exotic weapons too, not sure).
discussion we find it really easy, even with newbies if
The jugglers use Red Death which triggers health regen and faster reload on orbs. The person without the gaze shoots down the next pool of light and calls out which one it is and then takes the gaze. This gives the jugglers, who gave the hardest job, control of their own position. One person in the pit focuses on thrall while the other three DPS. No bubbles needed, a void bow or sunbro punch can help. For add spawns everyone just pulls back and let the thrall get really close for some easy ammo. We usually do it in 2-3 rounds without the jugglers breaking a sweat. Go for as many pools of light you can until everyone has exhausted their sniper ammo then reset.
. I find it better when it's fluid and you aren't forced into specific patterns. Otherwise people die trying to do to much, it should be a compromise between the take it easy and the all or nothing strategies. Name each pool of light, don't try and let the gaze get down to two seconds, and get out of there if you are in trouble.
I'm curious to see what different strategies people come up with for other parts of the raid. Definitely want to have an alternate way for final boss, the current strat is repetitive and boring.
Forgot to mention this in the above post but there is no other strat for final boss. It doesn't exist and will never exist, that's the whole problem with that fight :-/
Odds are decent he'll have a new TTK Titan exotic since he already brought a Warlock and Hunter one. But it's more likely he'll have Immolation Fists since he brought new gauntlets for the other two.
If anyone is still looking for Oryx help a bit later I can get online, but I need to finish new OT first...

One character is 310 set. Now to work on last. Thanks for last second help Rufus. Got him down to 5% on my own before dumbass minotaur came out of nowhere.

Hoping that hard raid won't just be higher light enemies and more debuffs, but actually have new/extra encounters, kind of like in some of the post-story missions.
I'm working on getting Touch of Malice, so anyone can help would be greatly appreciated.
Calcified Fragment 39, 40, 41, 42 are all gotten from Court of Oryx Tier 2 runes. Is each one specific to one of the spawns from T2, or lets say I use 2 runes that both are the same baddie spawn, can I still potentially get a calcified fragment from each?

Having a set bubble rotation is better since everyone knows where to go next and it keeps the gazers positioned directly opposite one another so they have a clear shot at his back. You don't want one gazer running willy-nilly and rotating Golgi so gazer #2 can't hit his back and DPS team can't hit his tummy. We start front right, then go back left, middle right, middle left, back right, front left. So the left-side gazer starts at the back and rotates front while right gazer starts front and rotates back.
It shouldn't be that hard for gazers to hold their position. Focus on his ugly face and shoot the 3 venom orbs as soon as they spawn. Pulse and auto rifles work well, machine guns too if needed. Don't use scouts or hand cannons. Pop your super for damage resistance (especially Sunbreaker, Radiant Skin also works) if things get hectic especially during Taken spawns. In my experience bad gazers let the orbs pile up then panic and start running headless-chicken style.

If you are closer to edging her rep she gives 15 flakes. Besides that roam the breach and mausoleum for chests. If you can find one b near an area boundary run back and forth and get the same chest multiple times.

I don't think classic style Capture the Flag would have worked either. Destiny's gameplay is way too hectic for that kind of thing.
The problem lies with the maps. They need to stop making maps that can play everything and focus on making maps that excel at one gametype. When the design goals are spread out to try to make something that can support Control... and then Deathmatch...and then a neutral Objective gamemode and then also intend to put them in 3v3 playlists, it just doesn't work.
The spawn zones on these maps were designed for Control with dynamic spawning, not Rift with mostly static spawning (although I spent most of the last Memento game spawning on the other side of the map because there was nowhere to put me).
Great. Now let's say someone is an idiot and didn't pay attention, and has 2 of 4. Is there anyway to figure out which are the 2 I don't have? I still need Fragment 39 and 40.
Found it! Google saved me. Took a while, but I got it.

start with a set rotation so they can be opposite sides and they never rotate to the opposite side but if the jugglers need to do L1 instead of L3 for some reason we like to give them that power by letting them to decide what pool to go with. Mostly happens in the taken section. With that said they just always call it out, pre set or not, just to have a rythmn. They never gave to worry about health with Red Deaths but if you don't have one your are spot on about weapon types.
Ouch guess I've just been getting lucky. So close to touch of malice, 42/50 fragments and two are readily obtainable. Others need arognach or tier 3 runes from the first two weeks, blegh. Looks like I'm a week off.

Go to the Mausoleum, if you get really lucky and there are no blueberries around, try to find a chest next to the entrance to the Founts or Hall of Souls, open it, run to whichever of those two entrances is closest until you see their names pop up in the bottom right of your screen, run back to the chest and it should be closed. Open it, and repeat to your heart's content. This MAY have been patched as I remember trying it a few days ago and the chest would open with nothing inside
