The previous raid sparrows are still better so not worth it. What a let down quest. Thought it would be something unique like a Red Bull class item. All these preorder goodies are garbage and next expansions and whatever people should not be excited for these kinds of things anymore.

I prefer the upgraded sparrows that don't have the overdrive, where you just have to hold the trigger.

The red bull sparrow is a trick sparrow with upgraded speed. I like it but since most of my patrol time is on dreadnaught, I never have an opportunity to use it.

I still haven't seen that many people using the teleporter in Vertigo though, it is great for free wins when you do manage to capture. Rift is super frustrating when the randoms just camp your own capture point and pretend they are useful. The team that usually manages to camp the spark spawn point will usually win. Even if they can't get a capture, all the guaranteed bonuses from distance points can easily push them far ahead. On Bannerfall it is very easy to score as a double stealth Nightstalker. Grab the spark, stealth and run to the side of the map with the big tree. If you run on ground level along the edge of the map, it will allow you to come to the capture point from the back. Double stealth will let you get there completely unmolested. Just make sure no team mates are with you.

In general I absolutely hate CTF and its variants, I would not actually play rift if it wasn't the daily crucible.

Its the newer people such as from TTK thread on gaming side that are unknown to many of us. Rift is not CTF.

-Capture the Flag requires you to go to the enemy team's base and take their flag back to yours while defending them from taking yours.
-Neutral Flag requires you to capture a flag in the middle of the map and bring it to your base.
-Assault requires you to take your bomb to the enemy team's base and detonate it while preventing them from detonating theirs (basically reverse CTF)
-Neutral Bomb Assault requires you to capture a bomb in the middle of the map and bring it to their base (basically reverse neutral CTF)

Then there are one flag and one bomb variants. These are all gametypes Bungie had in Halo.

Rift is Neutral Bomb Assault except you can't hide the bomb on top of the tower on Valhalla because you only have a minute to score it.

Neutral Bomb Assault was always a shit gametype because the spawn system is always put under tremendous stress. At least with Neutral Bomb in Halo, you had to arm it and had a chance to disarm it.

Also, the maps in Halo weren't designed for Territories. All of Destiny's maps are built for Control so they do no geometrically support static spawning.
