and Duncan MVP? what about Ginobili?
As I said, this is probably the weakest series by a Finals MVP in a couple of decades, and perhaps a case canbe made for Manu, but let's look at the numbers:
Manu: 18.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4 assists, 1.3 steals per game
Duncan: 20.5 points, 14.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 2.2 blocks per game
I think it's pretty clear that Tim was the MVP, especially considering that he came up just as big when it counted as Manu did this series, most notably tonight. Bear in mind that he also put up those #'s against the most dominant defensive frontcourt in the league, with constant double and triple-teams, to boot (while getting hacked all series

). They're not spectacular #'s, but they're solid, and he took over tonight when it counted. The fact that he averaged 14 boards (including something like 5+ offensive boards per game) against the Wallaces is amazing, really.
