I love how Detroit hacking Duncan is perfect detroit D according to hubie and the refs and absolutely NO fouls are being called for him.
 
No kidding! It's as if TD was just some scrub. He gets no respect against Detroit's D, just like they let Karl Malone hack him all series long last year.

I also wished Horry and Nazr were more alert right now, because they're costing us some pretty easy points.

There's no way 3 people can surround you and everyone get all ball, always. There's not enough ball for 3 defenders + the driving offensive player to grab.

Be nice if Nazr Mohammed and Robert Horry decided that holding onto the ball would be a benefit to the Spurs. I'm not against giving Rasho some minutes in this game if Nazr's and Horry's butterfingers continue.

There's a reason he doesn't do the Anthem. Every time he sings for a Pistons game, it's "America the Beautiful" and not the national anthem.. :lol

This game is in the bag for Detroit. Spurs went on a big lead and lost it, they won't get another chance.

But it worries me about Detroit's play in SA. They need to explode in this 2nd half and win by 10+, then they go into SA with 3 solid big wins. If this is a close win SA will come out huge in game 6.

Sheed still sucking this series. This year they will win despite him, not because of him. Tayshaun is getting played unusually well by Manu all series, tough for him, I thought he could really go off in the finals.

I'm kind of stunned the Pistons aren't pressuring so much this game like in 3 and 4. They need to lay on the full court pressure. They started to do this at the end of the 2nd, so hopefully it will carry through. No excuse for the lax play in the first 18 minutes though.

btw, first to 65 wins!
 
Both commentators are talking about how "both Wallaces blocked that" as you see Ben hit the guy's arm, missing the ball..... ugh
 
If the Pistons carried axes onto the court and legitimately tried to get away with murder down low, do you think the refs would call it?
 
Man hubie needs to shut his ass up. I love how he just sucks off the refs NO MATTER WHAT. "Rip gets called for the offensive foul." Hubie: "I absolutely agree. Wonderful call by the refs."

Every time the Spurs make a run, the whistles start blowing. This is a joke. I'm serious when I REALLY want the Spurs to take this game to show that they can overcome these pieces of shits known as refs.
 
This game is a FUCKING JOKE. Parker gets ton of contact. No call. As soon as Chauncey elevates and before anyone touches him, foul. This is laughable.
 
Yeah, I'm not exactly sure what's going on but I see Parker actually covered in Pistons players trying to go to the basket and then that non-foul called when Billups went to the lane.....

It's like they just stopped trying to cover it up now!
 
1) I never believed in NBA conspiracy theories...until this series. What the FUCK is going on? There are Spurs players who are getting absolutely murdered, and not getting calls. The Horry "block" on Lindsey Hunter was the last straw -- he was stationary and outside of the circle.

2) The announcer for Detroit -- Mason? -- needs to be shot. Do people in Detroit actually ENJOY him?

3) Kid Rock is a fucking embarrassment.
 
If I'm San Antonio, I'm going ot my bench and just trying to make this as quick as possible, the refs aren't going to let them win. There's too much clean blocking to do by Detroit.
 
Even ABC knows the fix is in -- notice how they don't show any of those "amazing" defensive plays in slow motion? How much do you want to bet that McDyess's "great rotation" was so effective because he just raked Duncan's arm?

The Pistons are being allowed to body up on the Spurs offensive players and the Spurs aren't on the Pistons players. There is no way a team should be able to drive to the lane this much and have the ball knocked away this many times without whistles. No freakin' way.

The worst part is, you know that there is going to be a complete 180 degree reversal in the Spurs' favor in Games 6 (and 7) in San Antonio. That's what I hate more than anything else.

I like Mason for some strange reason. I think it's his eyes. And Tha Bawlas makes me smile. It's about time people stopped straight up copying the Bulls intro. That shit is beyond tired.
 
For the love of God, the Spurs need a stop here. Why wouldn't you just put Duncan on the line if you get a basket with time running out?
