I'm not sure either... but a way to circumvent the limitations was mentioned so I'm holding off for now.So how do these "unstable" aug upgrades work? I went through the tutorial for them just now, and I'm confused.
In order to use one, I need to disable a normal aug... but it says that aug will be permanently disabled? So I basically have to permanently throw away an aug to use an unstable aug? Or can I turn off and on augs at any time as long as I stabilize my suit power?
Two things, what the hell is up with sprinting up a staircase? Feels like I'm doing the running man when trying to sprint up them. Anyone else running into that or is it just me?
How do I get around to overclocking my augs? I went to try and find the guy under the library but he's missing.
It's definitely a glitch, it does not exist in the Ps4 version but I noticed it immediately on PC.Yeah, it's weird. Feels like a glitch to me.

To be fair, that is a good point. It's just that somehow I got under the impression they were greatly stepping up their game with Deus Ex. The quality is pretty much on par with what HR represented in 2011, which is a B grade game with some brilliant parts that made a cult following. I think the initial hype made expectations a bit higher than they should be.
Watched the 12 minute HR recap and goddamn, I don't recall the narrative thrust in the original game being so well...silly.
Granted, condensing all of the contextual plot points into a brief summation certainly removes a lot of the subtlety of the motives that were clearly more deliberately fleshed out over a 20-ish hour play. I still couldn't help but scratch my head trying to recall just how ridiculous the stacking pile of conspiracies upon conspiracies littered the plotline. It felt like each new spoken paragraph started to read like a parody of itself. Despite earning all the achievements and loving HR so long ago, I really recalled so little.
I've already met him. What do you mean did you meet him already? If so the next step iirc is going to the undergroundin another part of Prague.casino
I'll say I'm enjoying myself more with this than I did with HR. I do think performance could be a bit better, and I'm unsure what settings I should lower to achieve 60+fps while maintaining a decent IQ. On a mix of mostly high settings on a 980ti at 1440p I seem to get an average framerate of about 55, G-sync is a big help in this regard, but it's still annoying. I've had 1 crash and this last time I played framerate kept jumping back and forth between 1 and 22, which I found to be really weird.

Well you must think the same way about the first game (DE1) then if you think HR was sillyof the conspiracy theories.Watched the 12 minute HR recap and goddamn, I don't recall the narrative thrust in the original game being so well...silly.

Since Human Revolution? The cutscene takedown thing was already ancient in 2011.I've feel like melee takedowns in stealth games have come a LONG way since human revolution.
During that tutorial I accidentally disabled an aug I desperately wanted to use and enabled an experimental aug I have zero interested in D:
You will barely use melee in this game considering the non lethal options you have, Stun gun, tranquilliser, Tesla shot, gas grenades, PEPS blast, non lethal typhoon and charged Icarus dash. And you can keep all of them in your inventory at once. It's kinda worrying that I'm already tired of all the melee animations just from finishing the prologue last time.
There seriously need about a dozen more, and some contextual ones around cover or something.
No freaking clue why they still do this dumb 'cutscene' for melee takedowns. Just have it all in first person to make it more seemless.

Why?I'm not even touching the experimental augs until I do that side quest Koller gives you right away.

If you don't care about non lethal then add in Nano Blade, and the various other guns.
They are not permanent, after missionI'm definately enjoying this Deus Ex more so than I did the last entry in the series. The music is great and I'm really diggin' the side missions and the dialogue. There is so much to explore and uncover in this game.
My only complaint thus far (and it's a minor one), is how the unstable aug system works. It's confusing as hell. I had no idea that once I disabled a normal augmentation, it would become permanently disabled.
Apparently there are two Augments locked behind DLC as well. With TPP the FOB thing was mandatory for at least one mission and it seemed like the in game research stuff may have been balanced to make the FOB stuff more attractive.
With MD that doesn't seem to be the case. Unless they go in and patch the loot drops after the fact, in game the micro transaction stuff is completely unnecessary to get the full DX experience.
Breach may be a mess, I don't know, but that's not what I bought the game for.
Yea you are correct in guessing what it does. You can get it but it won't do anything for now.Because it'll give you an item that will allow you not to have to shut stuff off. I think. He hints at it anyways.
Perhaps he is stuck with Founder's Edition cooling. As Koller says, you don't have to disable augs. But kinda like if you overclock your PC, expect things to get "problematic" the more the % goes up.
They are not permanent, after mission, you'll be able to use all without needing to disable anything.11
Which DLC is single-use? If you want to play a new game with a totally different difficulty / style, does that rule out New Game+ (and thus rule out using the DLC again)?Breach is a totally separate mode- story mode is free of microtransactions. And the game has New Game+ so you will be swimming in gear after you complete the game once.
Overall it seems great, except sprinting seems strange to me. It appears to be a toggle as opposed to you slowing as you release the button. Also, it doesn't seem to always work. There are moments where I'll press the button and he just doesn't run, yet I move to a different spot and he'll take right off. I know it's not an energy issue, so idk.
How do you tag enemies?

I never asked for thisNOoblet, I just wanted to say thanks for all of your insight and info you've provided in this OT. I didn't get to start my campaign until late yesterday and your tips and info really helped.
Started last night and chose the Human Revolution control scheme, as R3 for taking cover just seemed odd. Overall it seems great, except sprinting seems strange to me. Is the OST for this up on iTunes yet? I need it, goddamn I need it.
My god, the intro story hooks did not grab me at all. Jensen is now with an anti-terrorism organization because guilt?
