Yea, I ran into a pack that did that to us on act 2 inferno. As soon as we got within like 10 feet our health drained to nothing in like 2 seconds.
Gold sells for insane prices. It was at $40 per million, now it's more like $25 (still nutty).
Items sell as well of course, but that takes longer. Easier to sell items for gold and then sell the gold I'd imagine.
19 now.
At least that's what General chat tells me :lol

Also: Excellent move on Blizzards part, to auto-log everyone into a channel where people can sell them gold, and then not admin it at all. Brilliant decision really.

I've been wandering around Act 1 Inferno with around 16,000 DPS on a Wizard. So far so good.
Items with life regen, life per hit and life after kill are what I seem to do well with.
Maybe 1/10 elite packs I have to skip.

Alright, this is the first time I've gotten a drop that I felt might actually be worth a shit. However, don't know shit about Witch Doctor, and for some reason Corpse Spiders isn't searchable in the filters on the AH
How good is this weapon? It looks pretty fucking ridiculous to me, but on the other hand it lacks a socket as well as a primary stat, although everything else seems to more than make up for it.

It is good, but sadly corpse spiders are not something WDs use often. If it was poison darts, it would be great and worth millions. Now, it rates among the other 1200 dps IAS two handers.

Because otherwise you're more likely to get something you actually need and would be less likely to check the AH. They don't want that. :[
A DH would still pay good money for it.
A DH is just as likely to grab it as a WD, Corpse Spiders are about as relevant to DH as WD (read: not at all). Luckily, it's still a good weapon and I'd think you should fetch at least 4.5-5 million for it. Not sure where patience would push that up to but I think I wouldn't sell it below that range.

That is why you work with 3 friends doing the same thing. You quadruple the effective spawnrate and get the highest loot table you can without NV.

I don't think I "get" Inferno progression and may quit...
So, I spend all the gold I have (very little) on a new set and Act 1 becomes cake inducing every elite pack.
Act 2 is immediately pounds me and I run past every elite pack and a lot of normal mobs to kill Maghda.
So, what options do I have?
1. Farm some gold again to buy a new set.
2. Farm gold to buy and resell on the AH. (And probably fail at it.)
3. Farm Act 1.
4. Farm the goblin everyone is farming in Act 2 before Maghda.
5. Reroll a ranged class (I'm a monk)
5.Quit

Unless they fixed it recently, he actually couldn't hit you in the top right corner aside from his right arm attack and the meteor summon.
This is true so long as there isn't some asshole barbarian also occupying the corner.
My problem is not DPS, its me being made of paper.
I have 23K HP, Plus I think its around 27K with diamond skin X 2 AND force armor....... And I still get one shotted with anything on phase 3.
you shouldn't be getting hit in phase 3.

23K HP is probably too low for Force Armor under the hotfixed design, big hits will roll over the cap and still gib you. You want more like 35-40k with that.
When I brought my Wizard up the other day, I sold my Monks weapon and took my money and was able to it to 350~ resists, 37k HP, 52,000~ self buffed DPS on just a few million gold, so it shouldn't be too bad, just try to nab a few decent deals for some weaker pieces. A good helm with a socket in it for a +12%+ life gem really helps.
My armor kind of sucks though! I need more armor, at least until it starts to DR harder. Its such an underrated stat. I think I only have like 3400 with Force Armor up.

How are people getting +25% movement speed ?

There's pants (Hammer Jammers, Inna's Glory), bracers (Lacuni Prowlers), and amulets (The Flavor of Time, Talisman of Aranoch, The Murlocket) that I know of that can have move speed. There might be others.
Edit - Forgot ring slot (Band of Untold Secrets, Unity)
Edit 2 - There's even more just go through the item guide on their site
Bracer and ring can have movement speed on it aswell.
Lacuni Prowlers as bracer for example and wanderlust as ring.

Can someone on EU do me a favor? With my wizard I'm in one of the later quests in act 4 inferno, the one where you kill Izual. On my demon hunter I'm stuck on Iskatu though. I could get a little more vitality so the shadow spawn doesn't 1-hit me but I'd rather just kill some elites when I finish studying for my exams instead of doing Iskatu.
So, it would be awesome if I could invite someone to my wizard's party and then rejoin on my demon hunter. You'd also get a lot of act 4 inferno waypoints from it so there's that too.

fun game with kafka last night .8 more levels until 60. I can finally start decking my monk out.
OMG I'm so jelly right now you could spread me on toast.
When I killed him I had around 34k health and 12k dps. My resistances were only around 180-230. He's a tough fight with those stats, but I've killed him 3-4 times now trying to get better stuff.
I was a little frustrated last night when he dropped two 1handers. A 132 dps sword and a 164 dps 1h axe.
On the topic of inferno, I finally got to beat belial last night after getting so zoned in with a dota2 game and that concentration carried over to my 7th or 8th attempt at him that day. It's really fun slowly working my barb through inferno because I feel that unlike the other classes, once a barb can actually handle an act, with the proper skills, they can steamroll and even escort others through it pretty easily. I'm getting my shit pushed in by almost all elite combinations in Act 3 right now but I still find the challenge fun!
Same I used for every other act: smoke screen (lingering fog), vault (tumble), preparation (backup plan), hungering arrow (devouring), elemental arrow (nether tentacles). I had about 30-35k dps with sharpshooter. I solo'd everything right up until Belial, had to get help from a barb to tank a little because my dps was way too low to solo that fight.
