What sucks is that I was using the authenticator on my nexus, but had to flash to stock and thus got rid of the authenticator app. You can't just transfer it, so I had to disable authenticator and just hadn't re-enabled it. It hadn't even been a day.

For future reference, you can. Write down your authenticator serial number and restore code (menu key > setup > continue) and then input it in the restoration prompt after you reinstall.

Thanks. I was only 32, but this stinks. Submitted a ticket, will probably call this pm. So dumb.
 
So I rerolled a wizard after hearing the crap about barbs sucking ass in later difficulties.

All I have to say is wow. The wizard is ramping up in power so fast that I'm not sure how the imbalance in classes was even missed during act 1 in normal. My mid act 1 normal wizard already matches my mid act 2 Barb for dps.
 
Started hell. No problem with any mob. Champions are easy deal. Elite are a pain in the monk.

Skeletton king one shot my level 53 monk. I try my evasive/armor build to survive more. Still getting one shot.

Fuck it. I'm rerolling a wizard to kite all these bitches.
 
So, lvl 60 and stuck in Hell Act II. There is that damn worm cave I can't progress in. Allways a rare pack in the front I can't kite. Great. :(
 
Is it me or is Act 1 dropping better loot? I did 2 Butcher runs so far and snagged some good loot. Even an 800 dps Staff (which is useless to me).

edit: If people want to do Butcher runs, my tag is Kyoufu#1621

Real men stick to their class and actually gear up how they are supposed to. Get some resist gear and tank elites easily.

I spend 200k for that secret level staff for nightmare. Now I'm broke I can't by stuff from AH. I'm tired of farming monk. I'll get back to it soon or later. I just want to try out a wizard past level 13 from the beta

I'm actually sad that I got all of one upgrade in Act 1 Inferno and it was more of a sidegrade, really (+DEX, +Resistances, -Armor, -DEX, -Crit%) :| Didn't even have to AH the upgrades for Inferno.

Though, I think that's more a testament of my gear going into Inferno.

I need some help, guys. I'm still getting disconnected pretty frequently and even when I can play my ping is ridiculously high. I'm in the eastern US. Anyone think this problem's on my end? The game has been running fine for me over the past week and a half so I'm not sure what's up.

Finally made it to Inferno this morning!

Also found a Lidless Wall Legendary shield! Pretty cool since it was one of my favorite Caster shields in D2. If any of you guys are doing loot runs in Inferno please add me to you Friends List.

Have you called your ISP? could be on their end, they have had problems with WOW before (charter) in terms of shitty lag.

I don't think it's the servers because nobody i know including myself who has a shitty internet connection has been experiencing lag in the last few days. Could be on blizzard end but if it is again me and my friends haven't been experiencing it. You can have a 50mbps connection ,doesn't matter.

Just like the whole Comcast fiasco over wow a couple years back, i was running 25mbps and couldn't even play the game along with thousands of other comcast users, same thing happened with charter/wow.



Got 60 last night on my wizard and got into inferno but with all the nerfs i don't even want to play it anymore, debating if i want to get the last few levels on my hunter even though they nerfed SS or just play Max Payne 3 today. Kind of getting burnt out on D3.

I'm also on the east coast with an 8ms ping to my local Speedtest.net server. I still get 250-350ms in Diablo 3 with semi-frequent desynchronizations. It's a lot worse than I ever got in WoW.

I originally chalked it up to beta problems but it hasn't improved at all in retail. All I know is that the problem isn't on my end so what else can I do?
 
stupid AH. i have completed auctions in the list on the right but it's not listed in the left tab so i can't grab the money and sell more stuff.

So, a noobish question, but i'm playing as a witch doctor, what benefit do clubs and bows have for me, when i'm just throwing jars of spiders at everyone?

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised at all if it's Charter, they are a garbage ISP. Too bad I don't have any other options here since I live in an apartment. The thing that's weird to me is that the game has been running fine for the past week and a half or so.

It's frustrating. The other weird thing is that it will occasionally be in the 140ms range and then just spike to something absurd.
 
The difference between the Hardcore and Normal economies is pretty severe.

E.g. a Square Ruby is 500 gold in the normal AH and 20000 gold in HC. (That's on EU servers, how does it compare globally?)

I'm also East Coast and getting disconnected a lot right now.
 
40 hours in, approaching level 30, and I'm still in Act II. (Wheel of Misfortune is taking forever.)
