Also a lot of the people freaking out and saying there were untold trillions floating out there is probably unfounded; that was based largely on that one hilarious screenshot which Blizzard is saying is fake now:

Lets say for the sake of discussion there is a few trillion out there that hasn't been pulled and stays in circulation (which given how rich you had to be to even do the dupe to start with plus the relatively short window this was up I think that number may be high, but no one outside Blizzard knows).
-Given how rich you had to be to start it, even if account for the big streamers buying 2 bil buyouts and then every single one of those people duping I can't imagine more than a few hundred people activel duped gold, and I think that may a bit generous. With bans being handed out to the big offenders that probably immediately killed most of the duped gold.
-Even assuming that the remaining gold got spread out via gem auctions or items, most people (like here on GAF) "only" benefited to the tune of maybe a few hundred million. While that's a lot of money to most players, and end game top level gearing that isn't shit. Any meaningful upgrade to my DH is over a hundred mil, and WAY more than that for several slots. This means that rich people either got a bit richer, or lower level people get upgrades, but nowhere near god tier status...and that's already the case. Its not GOOD that its out there, but outside of probably gem prices being wack for a while this doesn't change the status quo in any meaningful way.
