Nice to see the political left and Democrats not being hypocrites about the whole "we've got to raise the tone of political rhetoric and make it less hateful" thing they've been so "concerned" about since the tragic shooting.

Let's see...

Wishing for a man's death? Check.

Comparison to Hitler? Check.

Calling him a "mass murderer?" Check.

Nope. Not being hypocrites at all.
I don't want him to die neither I think he is comparable to Hitler. I do, however, feel a total lack of empathy for a "person" (for lack of a better word) that manipulated America into waging war against a foreign nation for fuck all reasons, causing hundreds of thousands of deaths and turning the Middle East into a bigger political shithole.

Dick Cheney is a positively evil person, and I stand by my words.

PS: I'm not a leftist nor a Democrat.

So according to you there are only two types of people in this world

political left and Democrats

Or

Republicans and right-wingers

Damn so simple.

OK, so are you suggesting that MODERATE independents are hoping for Vice President Cheney's death, comparing him to Hitler, and calling him a mass murderer?

Uh...why is this so hard for you?

Those clearly aren't Republican, right-wing, or politically moderate statements.

TacticalFox88 said:
Yeah, it's totally not like most of those comparisons aren't valid. The man basically screwed the country over, and feels that people have wronged HIM.

Really? The comparison to Hitler and to a mass murderer are somehow valid? WTF?

Do you even know what the actual powers of the Vice President of the United States are? Because none of those comparisons are valid when you actually know what the Vice President is capable of doing with the powers of his office.

Why are wasting a heart on this man? Aren't there other people who are more deserving of such a rare organ? Why does this piece of shit get a new heart?

Cheney had a massive influence in President Bush's decision making. He is one of, if not the most, powerful Vice-Presidents of the United States.

I hope all normal people waiting for a transplant can truly appreciate the beauty of capitalism, when this guy buys himself to the top of the list.

you know what would really suck, if he needed insurance like the rest of us and wasn't a multi millionaire aided by giving contracts to his own companies. Then he was denied insurance because he had a pre-existing condition. Then he died.

Nope. Not being hypocrites at all.

And some anonymous internet messageboard people are clearly the same as a vice presidential candidate.

stay classy gaf.
Do you think it is out of bounds to make jokes about the metaphorical heart of a man who manufactured evidence to start a war that killed unknown tens or hundreds of thousands.

The WMD stockpiles did not exist and that can never be forgotten.

I am not the type of man to wish death on a person. So I hope he gets his heart and realizes that it came from a terrorist. So now he officially has the heart of terrorist.

So the fact that he gave more advice to the President than most VPs, which the President could still choose to heed or not at his leisure , makes him somehow equivalent to the all-powerful dictator of Germany, the supreme commander of the Third Reich, Adolf Hitler?

Right...

Anyway, I'm not here to defend Cheney. I just thought it was funny how all the concerns and hand-wringing about the tone of political rhetoric in this country go right out the window when it's somebody you really don't like, and simply saying, "oh yeah, but I really don't like that person, they are really bad" justifies it so easily.

It just shows how all that talk and fake concern was just that...talk and fake concern.

How is GAF feeling today?

Gotta say, the man has range. Nothing like Seagal.

5 heart attacks? Cheney is cardiovascular 2pac! Don't let the door hit you on your way out.

You're a silly right-wing apologist. This is not a political issue yet you're making it one. The man is a terrible excuse for a human being and a war criminal. But I guess since the thousands dead don't look like you, you can overlook reality. Keep believing in your made up false equivalencies Hannity.

Thanks for the name-calling, friend.

seriously.

Maybe the joke was way too obvious, if it was another disease the jokes could be a little bit clever, but what beats a "heartless" man having a heart disease?

And I can only :lol at the white knights defending him, GAF can be pretty cruel with much less deserving people, why should he had a safe card? of all people? we are in no position of power to actually screw him, as opposed to him actually really screwing over real people in the past.

Actually Gaf has a pretty clear policy on stuff like this.

Just like People who felt Ted Kennedy was a shitty human being were told to shut up and keep it in check it very much applies here too

I think the difference was Kennedy died.

There is no doubt in my mind their will be a lot of bannings here when Cheney dies. Really wish that rule was in effect when Reagan died.

Should apply, but the rules seem to change when the political party switches.

Edit - It's an actual rule now? Huh, didn't know. I thought this was referring to when Kennedy got sick.

Ignore my post then.

Changed it to be more appropriate. Excuse me if I don't have any compassion for a scumbag that got us into a war with Iraq leading to thousands of civilian deaths so Halliburton can make money off of it.

So what reason do people have to hate Cheney other than political issues?

You're really out of your fucking mind, you know that right? I don't even know where to begin. The strawmen, the baseless assumptions and leaps of logic, the irony of your reply... Just awful.

Kennedy and Cheney dont really compare to each other. A better comparison for Kennedy would be Laura Bush who also killed someone while probably driving drunk. You dont see GAF tearing down Laura Bush over it.

how does anyone's heart take 5 (FIVE) heart attacks?

also, what's up with his arteries clogging so much? is it diet? predisposition to clogging some other way?
