They have? Where have they covered emulation of xbox or PS on PC before? I've missed it.
Couldn't care less.
This decades old game runs at 240p 11 FPS even on PS5 (i am not even exagurating that much, last time i booted Bloodborne on PS5 it was pain to endure), so yeah, a good PC offers the unique opportunity to play Boodborne sharp and smooth enoughImagine buying a 5090 to play decades old PlayStation games
You asked how there would be coverage since nobody cares about emulation of xbox games. I said coverage would work in the same way by comparing emulation on PC as "this is what BC might possibly look like on xbox" for those games. Much like how this incomplete project is somehow an indication of "how a remaster might look like" on console. We’re talking about Xbox emulation on PC, not BC on Xbox.

It's complete nonsense. The game is a fixed 1080p (not even dynamic) . Doesn't really go lower than 30fps on a PS4 let alone a PS5. How would a PS5 drop to 11fps when it's running at a much higher fps than PS4 but capped to 30?Yeah, it’s perfectly playable on ps4
Don’t need to go to extremes to disparage the original version, it wouldn’t be a beloved game if it was 11fps
They have offered a $10 upgrade for the rest of their first party ps4 to ps5 upgraded games.Patch? The absolute best-case scenario is a remaster they'll market as a remake—and charge you $70 for it.
Notice how all of the PS4 emulation coverage is Bloodborne? I think it’s one of the rare PS4 AAA games that received no patch or performance updates whatsoever despite being the most acclaimed title on the platform. You asked how there would be coverage since nobody cares about emulation of xbox games. I honestly wouldn’t care all that much about the emulated version if there was an upgraded BC version on PS5 and I suspect many others wouldn’t either and you wouldn’t see as much buzz and fanfare.
It is not me insane it is you just can't read or can't understand jokes. You forgot to outline the words "that much". which i explicitly added for people like you who would not get it. to express that i am exagurating. to show with such absurd example how badly soapy this game feels, so this exagurated example feels like not very far from true. You're insane.

We’ll never know the exact reason, but if Yoshida’s feelings are anything to go by, Bloodborne at 30fps might just be it for the console version. Miyazaki will almost certainly not be revisiting it for a remake. I vaguely remember him stating he didn’t care about them or that he didn’t like revisiting old projects or something.I can’t believe Nixxes doesn’t spend a day to just unlock it
Yeah...nah. Ain't nobody using my pc for mining yo.

There are provisions in the DMCA for transformative content, including for education purposes etc, which they can use to fight back against Nintendo's DMCA takedowns. That's more to do with Nintendo being pretty notorious with DMCA takedown requests on youtube.
It's in the ShadPS4 github, see the link below:
So you more than halved the actual fps and quartered the res and said "I'm not exaggerating much" to show you're using an absurd example? Which is fair enough but there are plenty of games like that on xbox too dating back to even the original xbox. Halo 5 hasn't got a PC release either and Halo 5 forge on PC was a demonstration of what a possible actual PC release might look like when not held down by the crappy xbox one.Notice how all of the PS4 emulation coverage is Bloodborne? Simple fact is, they didn't do it because they don't want to.
Looking into it, the emulator uses cryptography standard libraries likely for accessing encrypted data. These files are found in the emulator files. Not sure why they would be there. Anyone want to chime in?

This game at 4k/60fps might literally be the first thing I try when my 5090 arrives
All these videos you are talking about are piracy advocacy and tutorial videos that are masquerading as educational ones. Piracy of modern platform software (like Switch 1 and PS4) has been masquerading as emulation for a while now when it's clearly not.Are y'all like new to the internet or something?
Nintendo has DMCA requested various youtube channels showing emulation, setup guides etc in the very recent past. Things which have nothing to do with piracy.

However, DF specifically can make a video that only focuses on performance analysis and how the code works etc without including how to bypass Nintendo's encryption and it would likely pass through. IGN/Eurogamer has a legal department that can be called on to review any materials before posting.
I own the physical disc of Bloodborne on PS4,I don't need to.I don’t need to, I own Bloodborne digitally
Where can you buy Bloodborne digitally on pc?
Bloodborne scales badly with resolution on ShadPS4. It takes a monster GPU for 4K60. Even the 4090 doesn’t come close.Emation requires a powerful CPU, rather than a GPU.
So if you have anything above a 12900K it should be crisp

But this isn't Bloodborne, it's the remaster of it which is not available for purchase anywhere which would classify it as abandonware. And abandonware is free as far as I know.
You remind me of Kanye West from the episode of South Park where he just would not get it.So you more than halved the actual fps and quartered the res and said "I'm not exaggerating much" to show you're using an absurd example? Ok
It's not about Nintendo giving a damn or not, the YT system gives you a way to dispute their strikes if they do happen under the DMCA Law.What makes you think Nintendo or their lawyers would give a damn, especially as they have openly said they consider emulation illegal.
The only reason this video exists is because Sony isn't as anal about it and doesn't file DMCA takedowns, the day they do, you won't see this kind of video on DF anymore either.
And DF are part of the biggest gaming media conglomerate now (and used to be part of one of the biggest ones before they got sold to IGN), they have access to in-house legal representation that can review the video before publishing, and can fight to keep the video up if a strike comes in without taking time from the channel crew.
Same with DriveClub and Gran Turismo 7. I suspect they will be next big thing for ShadPS4.Smh, Sony has really dropped the ball lately. Hundreds of millions of dollars seemingly wasted last few years on cancelled projects. Yet they have a game here, with Bloodborne, gathering dust which is a guaranteed cash printing machine on PC (and elsewhere!). Sell it for $39.99 with the DLC/expansion included. It's 2025 gotta stay alive, Sony
You're saying this when they just advertised a current-platform emulator despite getting access to Cerny and advanced access to PSSR stuff. That big media conglomerate relies on exclusives and the ability to gain coverage along with, or before most other outlets, to drive its business.
Why would they be stupid enough to risk getting blacklisted by Nintendo? That's just a needless risk no one in their sane mind would take.
This whole tangent of trying to drag DF because they don't fall for the obvious bear-trap is so bizarre, you guys.
You're saying this when they just advertised a current-platform emulator despite getting access to Cerny and advanced access to PSSR stuff.
This is clearly not part of their thinking at all.
They can become prone at a moment's notice.??
If Sony was prone to DMCA emulation videos on youtube, this video would not exist.
I don't understand what part of this is that hard to understand.
They can become prone at a moment's notice.
The idea is if you want to make a risky video, you make one and have your legal dept review it beforehand. It's not a complex process.
Nintendo generally only goes after things they know they can take down, it's part of what built up their legal team's aura.
