Fuck yes. No more Chromatic Abberation sheit.

Gonna have to DL this. Bought a PS5 and redownloaded Bloodborne, its fucking awesome that my 326 hour save is still there in the cloud, but it did feel a bit chuggy at 30fps heh

Try it and stfu.
no. I already finished the game few times.
You stfu lol. wtf. yeah I get 4k 60 if I deal with this and that being broken.
I find it shameful that people waited 10 years to pirate the game and play a broken version of it rather than at any point in last 10 years spending 200$ to get a ps4....
I've tried 360 emulation and ps3 emulation after hearing how amazing it is and no. it's not. "mm yeah it's great if you disable ssao in gears of war 2 and deal with constant stuttering and some missing effects". Of course most of it is fixable somewhat but emulation is almost never perfect or better than real deal for me.

you should not be able to turn it off. This is ruining style of the game.
Feels a bit chuggy at 30fps but it's way better than almost any other 30fps mode this gen lol.

What. Chromatic Abberation has nothing to do with the style. It just distorts the image in a very annoying way.

Its just annoying and it literally adds nothing

And it cant be better than anything else 30fps this gen because the framepacing is also fucked up.

Beyond that, yes it is one of the finest games ever made, regardless of these technical issues.

it's there for a reason. There was no TAA at the time and it helped to make image look less aliased and video gamey.
I like the effect.

And yes. It is MUCH better than most anything 30fps this gen. Some framepacing stutters here and there but it's very responsive compared to like demons souls at 30fps. Check it and you will be surprised

Yeah I havent played Demons at 30fps, I wasnt gonna put it on quality mode but I will check it out. Maybe you're right.

On the CA front, I don't like the effect, but I understand your perspective :). Options are never bad though and I always wished I could turn it off on PS4.

Fyi et al, regarding the emulator there seems to be two builds. The one at the github website has the following files in it when extracted and does not contain the .exe:

oHMSUYk.jpeg

In the folder named "cmake" there are these suspicious? files:
7AGCa91.jpeg

However, a different build is at the main shadps4 . net website (the website loads really slow) which does not contain the above "cmake" files but includes the .exe. It's files are:

86Mcq01.png

Main website version (latest available build) seems ok. But as with all emulator related shit, use caution when running these things. Desperate times out there and people will do anything to try to harvest your data, ID, address, phone number. I'm not accusing anyone just pointing out some things, regardless wtf the files are.

The Cryptopp library in question:

Some pretty basic cryptography module which does not appear to have anything with currency mining.

The OG repository:

Besides, considering how many people are already using the emulator, it'd be easily noticeable if they're using it for scummy stuff.

i cant even get on the shad site :messenger_loudly_crying:
You can download any version directly from Github.

This is the latest dev build:

And the last official 0.5.0. release:

How shameful of Sony, PC players can play a remastered Bloodborne before Sony can even release a simple patch for console players.

Sony has been terrible towards their own console user base the whole generation. The PS5 Pro cost $800 and yet there are a bunch of games they havn't patched for it, despite PC players having access to enhanced versions of those games. Days Gone, How 2018, Ghost of Tsushima, Death Stranding, Returnal, Helldivers 2 and now Bloodborne, albeit not an official update. You add BB to the pile of games I mentioned and it's a bad look. I don't know how anyone who has bought a PS5 Pro isn't outraged by that.

Why? He's absolutely right it's absolute bullshit that not just games like BB but about 8 PS5 exclusives haven't fucking been patched for the $800 ps5 Pro.

And people like you are ok with that? That makes no sense. If yoy can't see how awful it is to buy their "premium" system for such a high price then you have exactly the type of mentality Sony wants it's customers to have.

Not upset about anything. just laughing at the idea of DF covering emulation as "what a remaster would look like" with this buggy thing.
Meanwhile they're too chicken shit to cover any emulation that makes Switch games look 100x better.
By bug thing you mean the OG release right ?

Thanks a lot for checking into it, Gray! :messenger_fistbump: :messenger_sunglasses:

I gave this a try few minutes ago after months of seeing videos documenting the (surprisingly fast) progress.

The good news:
- Incredibly easy to set up
- Intuitive interface
- Even on my system it performs better than I was expecting.

The bad news:
- at least on my PC it seems extremely prone to crash.
- given the fast pace progress it's kinda hard to find any setup guide (about what settings to use in the emulator, what mods to seek out, etc) that isn't quickly made obsolete. For example I've seen videos saying that a certain mod was basically mandatory to avoid some significant glitch, but I tried the game with no mod whatsoever and these glitches never appeared.

What is more expensive for Sony? Bloodborne 60 fps patch or countless of GAAS?
It seems like they could just as easily make a 'theoretically great but we can't play it so we'll never know' PS5 game that's broken from day 1 and do the whole Bloodborne thing again, this time with DualSense.
Bloodborne never being a functional game on PS4 hasn't stopped it from reaching legend status with a vocal crowd online.
Until PS adopts Steam's 2hr return policy it's always going to be much easier to create another unplayable high concept legend than to create a playable one.

You very likely need the no crash on intel or amd cpus mod. You find it on Nexus.

This is what happens Sony when you drop the ball.

I've always had optimism that Sony was going to do something this gen but now they just look stupid!

This is an example of what is called "an opinion". In this case, your opinion. Don't confuse it with objective facts or something.
