Digital Foundry Reviews Pokémon Legends Arceus

So does Gamefreak not have access to the same technical codebase and skillset as the rest of Nintendo developers?

Because BotW was a freaking LAUNCH game and a port, and it is waaaay technically more proficient and stable than this. Why couldn't Gamefreak use a derivation of that engine, or at least the minds who made it run so well on the Switch all those years ago, when making their 2022 game?

Game Freak isn't actually part of Nintendo.

just imagine a game like arceus on a xbox x/PS5.

its such a shame that the pokemon franchise is locked on Nintendo consoles.
Nintendo going third party is honestly probably a win for them too. I mean their games sell the best by far, if arceus was a service based game shit pulling in billions a year. No reason activision was just worth slightly less than nintendo. Sadly arecus is locked to a mobile based chip.

Hence the reason 'Is Nintendo Doomed' clocks exist.

Both Capcom and Monolith Soft are master at bring out impressive visuals in on weakest system.

Capcom able to do this on a god damn 3DS.

Switch is much more capable, but Gamefreak simply dont have talent for it.
