Remember kids, turn off objective markers, else you'll be continually pointed where to go. Embrace the sandbox, be a true assassin.
Dishonored PC Options in case anyone was wondering. It's a pretty decent breakdown.
Bet you aim assist isAny of this are in the consoles version?
Lol oh me too, I'm looking for it at $10! Or maybe $9.50!Anyone know the cheapest place to get the PC version? I managed to find Dishonored for $45 at GMG w/ a 25% off coupon, but I'm looking to get it a little cheaper like $35 or less (been spending WAY too much on games lately).
From the small bits I have seen, yes. This is how I will have my first go.Absolutely. Is there a Hard difficulty right off the bat or is it something that unlocks after the first playthough?
I dunno. I'd imagine that some of those options are there, not all of them. Someone on here know what the console HUD options are?Any of this are in the consoles version?
I worry about this stuff when they design a game around it, like I imagine the case is for Fable and it's ridiculous bread crumb trail. However, since they explicitly said they tacked that stuff on, yeah, definitely turning that off.Remember kids, turn off objective markers, else you'll be continually pointed where to go. No graphical options but the options to turn off HUD elements individually from health, context buttons, reticle and objective markers.I dunno. I'd imagine that some of those options are there, not all of them. Someone on here know what the console HUD options are?
I don't have a video of it. The lead? developer made it.Did you make this? Any video of it? It's brilliant!

There is graphic options. IF you watch some video posted earlier, there's a separate tab for resolution or v-sinc and shadows and other things. No graphical options but the options to turn off HUD elements individually from health, context buttons, reticle and objective markers.
Thinking of buying this on PSN. Will it release at midnight?

On Steam it says that the minimum requirements are either a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 / ATI Radeon HD 5850. It says the same thing for the recommended. Can anyone comment on this? When I pick this up in a month, would I be able to play it on my GTX 260?

Probably doesn't even need to wait until tomorrow afternoon for that! Actually, maybe not even the morning going by Pacific Time.I've got a 4870, so I just worked off the assumption that the important part was the incredibly vague "DirectX 9" requirement. If something's wrong with the port, though, I'm sure you'll hear about it in a month.
I'm speaking about the console version in question. The video stated the PC version had those options and only mentioned the aforementioned options for console. There is graphic options. If you look closely, he's using the PC version.

Are people getting GMG codes yet/pre loading? Last game I bought from them I didn't get the code till probably 12 hours after it unlocked on Steam.

4 1/2 hours or so.How many hours till it unlocks in the US ?
while we are waiting for the release, can someone hit me up where we got more animated Gifs from the game please?
I know we got some in the Op...
Will anyone be doing a Ghosting playthrough? That would take massive balls. Do you even get a reward for ghosting (not touching any enemy)?
Doing one currently in Mark of the Ninja is loads of fun.

I'm using my first ever post to weep and rant that I have no extra money and too many random health problem bills snuck up on me to justify buying this game for my PC. I still play Thief 2 mods every year for gods sakes!
One day I will play this game and I will ghost it.
But for now I will literally writhe in excruciating pain.
I don't think the consoles use vsync maybe there is a option for it cause they both screen tear a little so I have heard.
