Do you see Sony responding to Microsoft + Samsung working together on XCloud?

Back in February Samsung announced that they were working with Xbox on XCloud, while Samsung didn't exactly say what the partnership is about, people have been saying that this would mean Samsung devices will come with XCloud preinstalled and come with 1-12 months worths of Game Pass so users can play their Game Pass games on their smartphone.

While people have been brushing this aside, Samsung is the biggest OEM and sells Hundreds of Millions of Smartphones and 10s of Millions of Galaxy S and Notes smartphones.

I think this would concern Sony as they are trying to get PSNow off the ground and relying on Console owners to move to Cloud gaming will cannibalise their ecosystem and not grow the ecosystem. Microsoft is growing the ecosystem by not focus on consoles and instead focus on other form factors.

So the question is. Will Sony respond to this type of move or will they go alone, despite not being a major presence in the Web services and device market.

Except Sony did this YEARS ago. They had PS Now on Samsung and Sony TVs. They dropped support once they saw the lack of use by consumers.

I just want Sony to come back to Portables... Their Vita is the best handheld I've ever spent my money on and it's a damn shame that Sony pulled the plug a few years later. Still have a hard time how Killzone Mercenaries looks tooo good on it.

They can easily work with Apple for a partnership but then again I won't see that happening because they make their own phones.

Idk OP, deals like these get made a lot in a lot of different capacities.

True but this deal is a bit different since it regards Samsung's mobile phones.

Streaming isn't going to take off because 5g technology is dangerous. Huge court cases this year all over the world to do with 5g and the effects on the human body (cancer).

They will response with:
