It's comics. There's two of a lot of people a lot of the time.
There's two Spider-Men and two Thors and two Captain Americas and two Beasts and two Icemen and two Angels and two Cyclops.
If that annoys you don't look up how many Captain Americas are out there right now.
Marvel constantly does this. I mean right now we've got 2 Captain Americas and 3 Spider-Men.
And I'm just counting folks that use the same name and not all the million minor variations there are on the same character.

Hey whats up with characters becoming other characters in marvel? I havent read american comics in a long while but i hear things like jane foster is thor, falcon is captain murica, x23 is wolverine, somebody else is ms marvel, a new girl is ironman too etc etc.

I haven't paid any attention to him since ANAD started, but hopefully they don't neuter the character. He should be at a Namor level of asshole at the least even while saving the day. I don't want to hear any monologues about Doom wondering how he can get people to trust him and accept him as a cape who's finally turned the corner and just trying to good to right all his wrongs.

Never mind the Flashes. Don't forget the Green Lanterns.
It's gotten to the point where I expect the Green Lantern Corps will be almost entirely filled by humans. Aliens like Kilowog, Arisia, and Mogo will be the exceptions.
Comics-especially DC and more recently Marvel have a tendency to work with "Legacies".
For instance Jay Garrick was a mentor to the more modern Flashes-and Peter Parker is now a mentor to the new Spider-Man, Miles Morales.

All from earth, they literally have the Rainbow coalition.
What is even the point?
These last 2-3 years have been horrible for all of us who love established Marvel characters. Either their character gets figuratively assassinated or they get assassinated for real.

Magneto is an exception- but "all X-Men must die" so I'm sure he will get replaced soon enough.
I hate All New All Whatever Marvel. I can't wait for it to end.

This could have been his ongoing during the original Civil War and nobody would've blinked.
I mean in them sharing the title. They're showing up front that they aren't committed.
In fairness, when I watch anime I'm comfortable that there's only one Yang Wen Li faffing about.
It makes sense in the context of the story. Read it and find out-that's part of the storyline.

Not everyone reads comics, you know. For some (many now with the popularity of the MCU?), the only frame of reference is the movies
It's never going to "end". Steve is fine, Thor is fine, Wolverine has been more interesting as Old Man Logan than before.

They're not just all from Earth. They're all from America. With so many rings out there, you'd figure they'd grab at least one person from China or India.
