still the only good book he ever wrote.avengersai.tiff
Don't worry I'm sure Marvel will release the last issue of SHIELD any day now.
Dr. Doom Director of SHIELD inc.
(which is a book that would fail gloriously, obv, since Vic has a habit of Getting Shit Done when it comes to running an org)
How many books are they letting Bendis write at once!?!
Doctor Doom as Iron Man
Doc Ock as Spider-Man
I'm gonna hold out for Magneto as Jubilee.
Nah, the pattern is that a villain takes over a character people give a shit about.
Doctor Doom as Iron Man
Doc Ock as Spider-Man
I'm gonna hold out for Magneto as Jubilee.
So Magneto in Goldballs' body?
My first comic?
The Avengers vs X-Men event.
Nothing will kill my interest in comics after reading that. (I thought it was amazing at the time tbh)
Everything that was canon before Secret Wars is still canon. It's just that some characters of the Ultimate universe had their histories written into the Marvel Universe (like Miles Morales' dad was still a SHIELD agent).
Oohhh.. So they didn't reboot the universe?
What is even the point?
reed and crew has probably remade the ult universe already.
What if we get a new Ghostface album and every track is just DOOM pretending to be him?
Oh god the mere prospect of Bendis writing Dr Doom gives me a headache. This should be fun.
You don't want more of this?
You don't want more of this?
Please stop Marvel enough is enough.
What if we get a new Ghostface album and every track is just DOOM pretending to be him?
#NotmyDoomYou don't want more of this?
Cyclops already became Magneto about 4 years ago
What is even the point?
Must be confusing for new readers though
New Hulk
Two Captain Americas
Two Thors
Two new Iron Man/Woman's
Miles in the 616
Probably more I'm forgetting, but still, for those who are coming off the movies, it must be confusing.
I mean in them sharing the title. They're showing up front that they aren't committed.
They wouldn't work as Falcon stories?
I would like to see the reverse...one hero multiple identities.Sam Wilson's book launched last year. Roger's new book launched last month.
The reception in the stories and outside of them proves that's not the case. Falcon standing for a cause means something different than Captain America standing for one.
Beyond that, you'll sell more of a Sam Wilson: Captain America book than a Falcon book. Marvel used to do this semi-successful thing where one character would take over another's book. Daredevil goes away? Enter Black Panther: Man Without Fear. Hulk gone? Enter the Incredible Hercules. This is an extension of that concept, I assume because it sells better.
That said, I wonder if the reception will be the same.
So they're going to have two people running around as Iron Man?
Yeah, happens more than people think
Yeah, happens more than people think
Yeah, happens more than people think
He very light sensitive for some odd reason.Eradicator rocking those 90s shades.
Are you reading the new Superman? The ending of the last issue made me flip out:
(spoilers)
Is this offer still valid?Hmm... always pegged him as a Hulk guy.
But wouldn't a Doctor Doom book sell as good as this would? I thought he was popular enough to support his own title.
Him wearing an Iron Man suit (even modified) sounds like a downgrade and disinterests me. The only way I'll forgive it is if it is like how LexLuthor is currently trying to steal away Superman's mantle.
