That was amazing. I need to find the other shorts.

Best ending line ever.

And Rory's facial expressions are great. It really does feel like all three fit together now. I can't wait for Series 6.

That was a very cool pair of shorts. The Children In Need 2007 Special 'Time Crash' is really good too. Also written by Steven Moffat

OH GOD... SO GOOD!

Just watched the short.

It makes me think with all the porn parodies why hasnt anyone made a Doctor Who porn parody, the possibilities are endless.

But not even his right sight is illuminated properly. How do we know there isn't some source of green light right in front of him?

Light bending I tell you!

I'm sure it's just an over sight on the editor. But still, as a guy who works on tags/signatures in Photoshop and is constantly checking his light sources, it bugs the bejebus outta me. Could be something in front too, but the light should be on his leg... ARGH!!

This hands are actually slighting in front of him, the light from the sonic screwdriver is reflecting off a mirror he has hidden int eh other hand, that reflects the light onto the jacket.

If you have enough mirrors, you can still bend light. >.>

There is one and it features Daleks.

That Red Nose Day short was awesome. Not helping with my Doctor Who withdrawals at all!! I'd kill for more shorts like this. I bet Moffat has lots of inventive little ideas swimming around in his head, that wouldn't be suitable for a full episode.

I'd hope there was a clause about the character now being the property of the BBC in the contest conditions.

Yeah, because if there isn't such a clause, and that sketch can be properly dated (is that even possible?) there's definitely some sort of case there.

I think that would be the problem. Because it would not only need to be dated, but it would have to be proven that it was sent into the BBC and that they received it.

I mean, if you think about, sure it looks exactly like Davros, but that could just be because someone drew a picture of him based on what they saw on the screen.

I think it's unlikely this guy has anything close to a strong case.

Was there any record of the contest? Announcement of the winner? It would be a really strange claim if he had absolutely nothing else besides a hand drawn picture to back it up. Although, we've seen this sort of claim many times before. Harry Potter, LOST and The Matrix come to mind.

Of course, BBC should sue Warner their depiction of The Matrix. Doctor Who did it first! lol.

... according to the Daily Mail

Well, that settles it. It seems a bit silly. It's only a picture. Sure, if it can been dated etc. sure, you may have a case. But the likeness just seems like someone has drawn it after seeing a tv screen, not the BBC seeing the picture and then turning it in to a character. Would a 13 year old really thought "I want to cripple his left hand"? Seems like a dud to me.

No I invented Davros!

I can prove it because I have a mug with his picture on it.

I also apparently invented a couple of ladies whos clothes fall off when you put hot water near them (doesn't work in real life).

Torchwood: Miracle Day will premier on Starz on July 8th!

Promo poster:

“Not a single person on Earth dies” Torchwood boss Russell T. Davies
recently explained. “The old stay old. It’s great news for some
people, but globally it’s an instant population boom. Earth relies on
people dying. Suddenly you’re affecting everyone on the planet. That’s
where the Torchwood team comes in.”

And what a team it is. Joining Captain Jack (John Barrowman) and Gwen
(Eve Myles) on their international crusade — which includes an
extended stopover in Los Angeles — will be ER‘s Mekhi Phfifer and All
My Children‘s Alexa Havins. The season 4 ensemble also includes Bill
Pullman as the Big Bad and Six Feet Under‘s Lauren Ambrose as a
no-nonsense PR expert.

If it's as good as Children of Earth, I'll be in heaven.

Children of Earths ending still ruined it for me. Shoehorning in someone Jack has an emotional attachment to for no reason but to exploit the audience with it pissed me off.

Just rewatched the trailer for this upcoming season. I still get chills watching it. <3

Personally, I think it's...

The Ood, but further evolved. In the episode where the 10th Doctor visited the Ood planet before his death, he commented that they had advanced rapidly in only a few years, "A little to rapidly" is what he said, I believe. I think what you see in the picture is the latest form of the Ood."

I'm probably wrong, but it's an interesting thought.

I hated the Ood....
In "Impossible Planet" and "Satan Pit" the Ood were awesome. Very creepy and mysterious. Once we got "The Planet of the Ood" it diminished them. The Ood are a good example of "less is more."

Don't forget we are seeing River story backways. The last time we see her will be when she first meets The Doctor, as the first time we saw her was her last meeting. She knew Amy as she met her countless times before, although from our view of the timeline (and the timeline of Amy and The Doctor), it was their first meeting. Every time River meats The Doctor she knows what happen in all the meetings The Doctor himself has not taken part in yet and The Doctor know what happens in the ones she yet knows nothing about (aka the one's we've seen on the show)... Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey Stuff!
Oh dearest me I never realized this before. Have her appearances really going backwards in her own timeline? each and every one of them? (the one in the library was obvious, but I was sure about the order of the rest).

What always confused me the most about her is her familiarity with the Doctor: she didn't recognize tenant, she called him really young compared to the doctor whom she traveled with, but then greeted Smith without blinking or commenting on his appearance.

So this makes a lot of sense and explains a lot of stuff. It's actually a really good approach to her character's development.
