Curious but when you guys say 'leak' do you mean the actual episode or its script?

Either way
2 DAYS TO GO

Damn, this really is nearly as bad as Korra.

I think the first 6 episodes were said to have been on the server, so the second half of the series should be safe but yeah it's a shame.

Scripts and work print copies of the episodes were on a server for translation work.

This is getting ridiculous.

Maybe the quality of four is particularly bad?

They still have episode six to leak as well.

Episode four supposedly has no CG right so maybe that has something to do with it. Or Moffat just cast voodoo to protect his own stuff from leaking.

Either way I'm glad. It's the one episode I'm most looking forward to and as good as people have been about not spoiling things it would suck to know it was out in the wild.

It bothers me that only the top part on the time rotor goes up and down :/

I feel like the rotor hasn't really been 'right' since 2010, really. I really disliked the weird blown glass thing that looked suspiciously like a novelty sex toy at the very top in the 2010 TARDIS, and then it's too static on this one. I need more up and downy bits in the TARDIS!

I liked the old rotor that used to wobble as it went up and down like it was attached to a bicycle chain operated by a hamster wheel

Gave the old girl the necessary wabi sabi

Steven Moffat has said that there will be more deaths in the upcoming series and that there are “dark times ahead.”

Speaking in the new issue of DWM he says: “It’s a bizarre thing that I always find myself accused of killing off characters, and I think, ‘What on Earth are you talking about? I don’t kill nearly enough people in my fiction!’

He adds: “I’m aware that I have a sentimental tendency to whack people back on their feet again – you can have several deaths in one lifetime, apparently – and I’m aware that that’s a weakness, so I thought in our new, scary universe we’d make sure we off some people, and that would make it more exciting and more visceral. The word I keep using is ‘visceral’.

“For our new Doctor, there are dark times ahead.”

If nothing else, it's nice that he's at least aware of his tendency to kill people then bring them back ASAP. So it lends a little more weight to his claim of killing characters this time, as opposed to every other time where's he promised someone will definitely die for real, and then they do but it's not actually for real.

I was deeply offended by what happened to Harriet Jones. She was 100% justified in her actions. I found that whole ending seriously sexist.
Isn't that the whole point though? It's so bluntly sexist that it seemed like a fairly straightforward object lesson in what would continue to happen to humanity if they chose not to act honorably and rise above the baser, dog-eat-dog instincts still prevalent in our society.

I love how getting rid of Harriet Jones makes the Doctor responsible for the Master becoming PM. And that other prick in Children of Earth.

There is a DCOTOR WHOVES and you think the fandom is too big because of an achievement ? =P
That says more about the pony makers that it does Doctor Who TBH. Theres references to Big Lebowski and such from what I understand

don't even get me started on references as a substitute for cleverness

You seem to misunderstand both who came up with Doctor Hooves (it was the fans) and how much in the foreground the references in MLP are (they're way in the background). Arguments against references as replacements for cleverness don't really apply here.

Moffat on River Song returning. Not sure where this is from but I saw it on tumblr:

“As to River Song, don’t know. I mean it feels to me that story is slightly done and it’s time to move on from it. I was very pleased with how it worked, but we’ve seen most of the stuff we ought to see with the Doctor and River. There’s other stuff we never saw with the Doctor and River and I don’t want to see that. Just leave that somewhere else. No idea what they got up to together but I’m sure it was lovely. So let’s close the door on that.”

I'm glad if he's not lying.

I'm glad if he's not lying.

I mean.. I'm not exactly sure how he could get around it tbh. The actress will only get older and by showing us first moments as Alex Kingston as well as her presumably last moments alive in addition to the fact that their relationship grows in opposites (she's oldest when he's youngest and vice versa) I don't know how they could work around that feasibly. It's essentially closed off the loop and showing any of the unseen interactions/adventures will become less believable visually as Kingston ages.

Oh man, this sounds damned good.

I'm watching the One Show.

INCREDIBLY awkward moment when they thought Jenna leaving was confirmed and asked Peter about it. He was amazingly baffled by it.

Haha, Capaldi's on The One Show right now and Alex Jones slipped up and said it's been announced that Jenna's leaving like it was a fact, then she quickly said it was a rumour, Peter looked really confused.

Edit: Beaten.

There was another DW-version of a BBC ident during the commercials after the One Show just now. It's the one with the hippo's - the Tardis now flies by underwater at the end.

Time Heist is really very good.

I have a theory about something major that may or may not happen. I won't bring it up here (because spoilers) but it is beginning to make a lot of sense.

Involves Danny.
