I can believe Moffat is the jerk the site said he is more or less, the guy does come off as having an ego and if pissed with the fandom I could easily see him putting in a giant F U somewhere.

BBC also wanting to take him away from Who is not a shocker, you think they could offer him something to get him away.

In a way I can't wait until Freeman and Cumberbatch get too big for Sherlock so Moffatt has zero leverage. It's crazy that (if that rumour holds water) the BBC can't just tell him to sling his hook.

So, there's a new Whistleblower page up spoiling the 50th Anniversary Special.

If it's fake, it's a fun fake. If it's not, goddamnit I just spoiled the fuck out of myself.

The set of images from throughout the series implying
Omega
coming back I've seen before, the theory that that character coming back has been around for the last few years every time we get close to a finale, lol.

A lot of this stuff lines up with earlier leaks though, so who knows, maybe it is true, or maybe it is just someone writing up stuff that he/she has seen somewhere else? Whoever it is seems likely to get in some trouble of it though.

Yeah it's been a meme for a while, but it would be just like Moffatt to actually deliver on it in a totally bizarre way.

Yea, it is perfectly possible that these images are true and will lead to something. If the whole thing with the Doctor still wearing his jacket in that one episode where it got taken off has taught us anything it is that Moffat likes to leave timey wimey clues, just everyone was a few series too early with guessing what was going on.

Yeah.. i don't know.... sounds a bit fanwanky, like someone has seen the location filming and strung it together to form a plot. I'm going with fake.

One of the things that makes that seem fake is that they never really refer to his past incarnations as numerical editions. He never says "That happened with the Fourth Doctor". He's always just The Doctor.

I actually have something of a suspicion of who the whistleblower is, and, if I'm right, I really wouldn't be paying him any attention whatsoever.

Do any other Gallifrey Base veterans remember Eddie?

You guys are making it hard to stay unspoiled! So tempting...

But I wanted to share, my father in law, who is amazing and made this for me several years ago:

Has decided to let me in on the progress of his next project:

Not finished yet, and I will post the final as well, but OMG, I bet it's going to be mine, squeeeeeeeeeee.

what are these?

I just rewatched "Blink" and only this time I realized there is a line at the end of the episode that is possibly related to River:

Doctor: "Look, sorry, I've got a bit of a complex life. Things don't always happen to me in order. Gets confusing, especially weddings, I'm rubbish at weddings, ESPECIALLY MY OWN."
Sally: "Oh, my God! Of course, you're a time traveller. [...]"

What if... what if this is somehow related to the 50th aniversary episode? I mean: River, 10th, Martha Jones, Moffat...

I believe there have been mentions previously of him being married. He did have a granddaughter after all.

Yeah, also, how on earth would 10 know about him and River getting married?

I was thinking about the 50th aniversary episode, maybe 10th encounters 11th and River or something like that. But yeah, that doesn't make sense at all. It would imply 10th could recognize River in Silence of the library because Blink is way before that episode.

The Doctor's been married 3 times on record so far.

Ok, that's new to me. I have only watched the new Who series so the only reference I had about the Doctor having a proper family is in The Doctor's Daughter where he mentions he had sons.

From the top of my head:

1st Doctor - Susan's Grandmother. (Susan is the granddaughter mentioned in Rings Of Ahkaten and was companion at the start of the series)
10th Doctor - Queen Elizabeth I of England. The No-Longer-Virgin Queen.
11th Doctor - River Song.

Also didn't he get engaged to/married Marilyn Monroe in one of the christmas specials? I seem to vaguely recall something like that.

Edit: blargh late. Whatever.

He argues that they didn't get married in a proper chapel, though. :lol

A guy over a thousand years and who knows how many else is bound to pick up a wife now and then. But with regenerations, death, years passing by, got to be one of those things where no matter who he's with one day it doesn't mean he'll be with them the next. I doubt the concept of true love can apply to him, eventually with time and a regeneration or two things will change. All things do, all the good Doctor can do is move on otherwise we've seen how he mopes.
