Man what a boring fandom, I would have leaked it. With some modifications to the last 5 minutes, that is... I'm sure certain parts of Love and Monsters would be fitting.

Given every series finale, it's a possibility for sure.

Fixed that for you.

I do wonder why it hasn't been leaked yet. Even if less than a hundred people got the discs already you would expect that at least one of them would go for the e-fame and upload it somewhere.

EDIT:
Don't know how true it is but I read that only 7 copies leaked before they realized
Just seven? That seems awfully low.

Does anyone even buy the individual DVDs? I always wait until you can purchase the full series in one box.

Also for those who have spoiled themselves - do the silence feature AT ALL? i.e do we get some partial answers to the lingering threads of the series 5 and series 6 mysteries? (a yes or a no will suffice)

Really? I read that thousands leaked. When they realized it was already too late, the shipments were already on the way.

I'm not surprised that apparently no one put it out there, because really, are the type of people who would preorder the bluray also the type of people who are pirates?

I mean, Like i said its just something I read that I cannot fact check. However if thousands of copies were in the wild I figure we would have seen something by now.

Pirates do often preorder blurays. The piracy scene is vast and made up of many people with different roles. Often big piracy groups will have people who fetch the content for them and upload it to topsites. These people preorder (or do other things) to get the blurays asap and then share them with the runners who filter the content down from topsites to usenet then to file sharing sites and eventually torrents. It happens quickly. When a video game leaks for example often they are stolen from printing factories by employees who get paid a fair bit of money to take the risk in a matter of hours those games are uploaded and on torrent sites all over the world.

Amazon can issue a recall of a product mid shipment. You can cancel a shipment of an item any moment until it leaves the depot to be delivered to the customer.

Apparently they do... Another user posted this on Gallifrey Base. So now we have a confirmed bluray and dvd copy sent to people. Seems like that would indicate a large amount went out and more people should be receiving it shortly.

Nope, I've been crying about this even since I read about the change. The original plan apparently involved having scenes of her at home in other episodes of the season too.

"Steven Moffat wanted [the kids] included. I know that they were originally to have featured more in the season than they have, and that originally they and Clara were all the Victorian versions we saw in "The Snowmen," and their names were different. The Victorian era was to have been the "home base" era for the whole season, but Steven Moffat changed his mind on that. I think the idea was to top or tail every episode with a Victorian-era scene of Clara's home life, after the Doctor dropped her off each time."

Hey guys. I'd like to get intro classic who too, I have no idea how I should get around it though. Any suggestions?

Step 1, go here: LTTP: He's only 907 years old! Let's share a Doctor Who Marathon

You have one month to get copies of all the episodes listed therein. Then all you have to do is keep to the schedule.

You won't be able to get past the horrible caveman serial which immediately follows the premiere - I couldn't.

I like that it cemented how much of a sociopathic jerk the Doctor is. Real shame they changed this aspect of his character. He used to be completely willing to kill in order to get his way. Brutally.

It better not be truncated for strictly - wouldn't it make more sense for DW to follow strictly anyway? It has done well in that slot before (see the ratings for a town called mercy)

Oh, man, it's going to be great if the episode is accidentally slightly too long and some dancing show cuts off the broadcast five minutes before its actual end.

Yeah I guess the number of people willing to both buy a DVD of a show straight away and to upload a pirate version is pretty small.

What the fuck, people have DVDs! They're either technically illiterate or morally loyal to the BBC, both of which I have a big problem with! Damn their well-behaved hides.

Quick question. Typically how long after a show airs does it become available on Amazon Instant Video? I've been holding off watching until the end of the season so I won't tear myself up with the weekly wait.

It would have been vastly better than Yet Another Modern Day Spunky Girl With A Secret.

Still, I would have preferred to see her with more Rory-esque qualities (id est, dying more often).

You really have the wrong avatar to be making this post. What you should have actually written would be something along the lines of:

MoffatBalls said:
Everything is proceeding exactly as I have foreseen

Or you need to change that avvy to, I dunno, Nathan-Turner or Kate O'Mara.

I'm also quite surprised that no one is leaking it. Weirdos. >.>

I am the AntiMoffat. Omega blew up the Tardis everybody. The Silence are ran by The Master. River Song left after Good Man Goes to War. Eccleston is in the 50th.

Bless you, AntiMoffat. Bless you.

Incredible that it (still) hasn't leaked. Kudos to the fandom!

For all the extreme edges of fandom, most of us tend to be respectful of the showrunner's wishes in terms of keeping stuff under wraps like this. Look at the number of people who saw preview screenings of Asylum of the Daleks last year- despite all that, the appearance of JLC was still a surprise for the majority.

Apparently BBC America are calling people it's shipped / shipping to and asking them nicely not to leak it, according to posters on Gallifrey Base at least.

I suspect the number it's going to is in the low hundreds, not thousands as initially reported. I just can't see that many putting in direct preorders for this via BBC America directly as opposed to the many other outlets.

I suspected as much. It's at the point now where I'm just going to wait until Saturday. A rogue upload between now and then wouldn't go amiss, but I can wait. Also, I've tricked my SO into thinking there'll be a Tennant cameo at the end, so we're not going out until it's over.

Ohhh, now I get it ! </fry>

I have a final exam tomorrow, so I'm not allowing myself to get hyped up until tomorrow night. How's everybody else holding up? Is the meter at the breaking point for most of you?

The week's blowing by pretty fast for me. It'll be Saturday in no time.

I'm not Omega.

Or am I?

Probably not.

That gif reminded me of how much I loved Let's Kill Hitler when it first aired - only to go online and see showers of derision from all corners. Maybe it's just me, but I loved all the parallels between the doctor meeting river for the first time and vice versa, and the eventual denouement where she is given the diary and "river song" is born.

I love it too.

Could the BBC even set up a hoax like this though? I thought they weren't allowed to "lie" or something of the sort.

Here we go into list wars again

I think personally Matt Smith improves with each season. He is sort of "settling in" to his role.
