I would hope people wouldn't get bothered by this. Good lord. And if it does bother you, then for the love of everything, don't tell Sony. We don't need them postponing because they may have hurt your wet dreams for 4K presentations.

I'm here wondering if we'll get a Digital Foundry breakdown of the stream performance. I want those framerate/resolution counts in depth!!

I believe they are doing it so they don't get people checking the games are running at native 4k or not ,its damage control don't belive sony

Big if true!

Sony really shooting themselves in the foot uploading 4K trailers after the event then. :messenger_smirking:

I mean I'm from the 640x480 era (in before people scoff and boast about how their era had even lower resolutions lululul) so 1080p is all good. Shame about the fps though! I thought they would really blow the lid of next-gen by showing nothing but the highest of fidelity games (the highest!) running at 60 at the bare minimum. That's not to say I'm not expecting games to run at that framerate when these consoles finally arrive but it would've been nice to see games comparable to like HZD, God of War and Spider-Man to run at #doubletherate for the first reveal.

I wonder what's the reason behind it. It has to be some kind of big deal because otherwise they could have not specified beforehand...

Could it be that PS4 would have issues displaying that?

it should at least be 60fps youtube's bit rate is terrible anyways your not getting the FULL 1080p signal as it is they should crack it up to 1440p at the least.

Yes because I would like to be wowed by the resolution and frame rate too. I'm going to have to rewatch again in order to get the full effect and it just wont be the same.

Nah. I only have 1080p TVs/monitors anyway and no that stream quality is never a good indication of how the game will look running on a console on my TV. I mostly watch these things at my desk or on my ipad anyway. I really just want to see what gets announced/revealed. I'm not that fussed about graphics these days and just want to see what the exclusives release schedule looks like to start planning on when I should buy a PS5. PS4 was a bit of a wasteland that first year to 18 months, I'm hoping they have a better slate of games for launch and the launch window this time.
