This is the perfect microcosm of the purple insane forum

This game also had destruction mechanics.

But the problem is that Guerilla didn't have the terrain destruction, only buildings… it had dropped the the Red faction 1 geomod.

Anyway I take it more as an homage to the first red faction than Guerilla I guess

True you were mostly destroying building and man made stuff and I remember the physic was little wanky when you see a building still standing with just tiny pillar.

Nope. It's not a simultaneous global release. It's still listed as preorder on the page and when I tried to play it, it did a check and said I can't play it yet. I still have 2h40min to go here in the US.
