Need I remind you guys how long it took to get a major patch after TI3?
First Blood appeared September 23rd 2013.
The Spirits were added November 14th 2013.
The last new heroes we got were released January 2014
yeh but when was the next major tournament after TI4?
Since we're getting this $200,000+ chinese lan tournament in September, I'm betting we get a patch in August. Or icefrog will just use that tourney to see how the meta has shifted (on it's own) since TI, and we'll get another post-TI October patch...

So, after Drow and PA I started playing Luna yesterday.
Holy shit, it's a farming machine. The money just flows! But I died pretty quick in hero fights, I have to read up on what items to buy.

ES and Phoenix will probably get first banned everytime no matter how op they actually are because pros will be too scared to give them up, similar to Lich post Frost Armor on buildings. Difference is they'll actually be really good.

I am back to the 2.5K trench where people do not buy dust or wards and flame others for the loss. At least, I can try to get a decent KDA ratio there.

Made my usual mistake of playing solo. Had a good night with friends, had time for one more, though I could keep the streak going.
Our team is a three stack, plus myself and a non-English speaking 5th player. The 5th player goes mid, feeds three deaths within five minutes, and for the rest of the game the three stack blames me and the 5th for losing us the game. Not that I'd done anything wrong (I was supporting and keeping them alive), but because I wasn't one of them, I get attacked. One of the stacks was a Mirana who built Dagon. my neck was starting to get sore from shaking it so hard.

Playing as an AA vs Viper is like the saddest thing ever. Dat feel when you die from Corrosive skin because your AA ult went in the path of a Viper 
I get BKB on Luna against a right-click/bashlord team and no BKB against an aoe stun lineup

blyatcyka is the best secret carry. cyka has 80% winrate with radiance vs only 54% for naga with radiance. I heard you can't even throw games as cyka to a spec+morph if you tried.

What the hell is that Naga Radiance winrate in pubs? Pub scrubs probably get it too late and lose but damn, I find games to be a breeze when it's up, especially prior to the 20 min mark.

My friend went from like 3.1k mmr to 3.8k mmr playing nearly exclusively blyatcyka. I don't think he advocates going Radiance though.
I guess the problem is too often you don't get a <20 min rad on naga in pubs but you just keep on persevering for it off the backs of your many dead teammates. That's what I do anyways. I get it at 25 minutes and we still lose, we just lose a little bit later.

Diretide was drop dead boring. Couldn't believe it was this shit after all the e-drama beforehand.
PPD cost EG their 3rd game, he also directs them in the game.
Because we don't know what goes behind the scenes we should always blame the captain, he is the chosen one.

Don't know why people expected him to come this fast after TI ( well it does was stupid to show hin as completly playable with the all star match, setting the feeling that he is ready ), so yeah I agree.
Now, we do enter now into the 6 month without a new hero territory, which is already 50% more than their previous record ( with the infamous Diretide 2013 patch, at a time where some people still told us that Valve actually didn't slow down Dota 2 dev, that patch only got bigger but more spaced out, I guess the sunglasses were a little too strong ). While also take quite a nice time for the deathmatch mode or the AZ challenge from the compendium, among other things.
At least d2modd.in fill the void.
Actually never tried. But I sure have fun taking some of techies ( oracle and abyssal ) skill in Legend of Dota.

A couple weeks ago some guy on my team randomed naga and called mid, so I assumed he's probably going for a fast radiance. Then he got a battle fury as his first item. I think the radiance was his third or so item, but the game was pretty much lost for us at that point anyway.
