Arguable, but throwing a game for money and throwing a game because you're cocky aren't even remotely the same degree of wrongdoing (and I'm not even sure I'd consider the latter wrongdoing at all).

Regardless of how much sense in makes business wise, Dota is not Valves main revenue stream AT ALL
So unlike Riot, they dont have to pander to their user base and only release cosmetics for the most popular heros
Im SO SICK of seeing Juggernaught/Sven/Drow/Furion/Bounty/QoP etc getting in every patch while the other 70 heroes in the game are ignored
You have to remember that people actually have to make items for the heroes for them to come out. Like, no one has made a Chen item in 4 months.

to be fair, we literally cannot make items for at least half the heroes in the game. We'd love to but.... *looks at Valve*

So may games lately against obnoxious turtle lineups where we have 70 kills and we can't break the base. Three force staffs on their team and bazillions of AoE spam and buybacks galore and we just can't fucking do it.
I think sometimes the best thing to do is just get aggressive wards down and farm the enemy jungle until everyone on the team has a HoT or two. But when they have a medusa that can go wrong as well.
