I’m trying to go into this with an open mind. I didn’t play the originals so I’m not really upset with Veilguard being different from previous entries. Plus I have an unhealthy attraction to games with character skill trees and Veilguard’s looks interesting from what little has been shown. I’m not really sold on the combat though. In the preview gameplay video, the constant dodging back/side flip bullshit looked kinda obnoxious.

I didn't play Andromeda, but Anthem was a swing and a miss for me (and nearly everyone else). The game had so much potential... and then they released... that. It was beautiful but the world felt to me like GTA V or RDR2 after completion of the main campaign. There is still stuff to do, but it's melancholic.
