Yeah, I screwed that up thanks.

Yeah, each place has some class-specific stuff from there on. But they also have general things, as well.Gravijah said:Been taking a break from the game, but inthere's a lot of class specific items. Is that what it's like from here on out? I prefer items I can equip among multiple characters. :/Bloomingdale

I don't tend to mess with slots if I can avoid it. In the DS and PS2 versions of the game, the chances at the slots are much better, though.
Yes.Vamphuntr said:On the world map there are a lots of caves and areas I cannot reach with the ship. Since I'm pretty sure I am at the last boss, does that mean that these areas can only be visited in the post game stuff.
DarthWoo said:Can someone summarize exactly how the job change system works? I made my main character based on a character I use in practically any game with a customizable main character, but I feel like I eventually want her to change to a warrior. From what I understand, changing jobs resets your level completely?
Also, is anyone playing through with only their main character?

It felt good killing him (characters doing anywhere from 300-500 damage, huzzah!) after the sound whooping he gave me the first time.

elbkhm said:Loving the game, but I had a question. Does anybody else have an issue with the game telling you get x number of skill points, but then only awarding you x-1? For instance, when my main levels up, the game says "Bob gained 6 skill points", but when it switches to the skill assignment screen, there are only 5?
It's certainly not a big deal, but it's pretty strange.
Kinitari said:Those are trees! And it's not Batsureg or the place north of batsureg =/. In my head thats a fence and that's a building inside, so I assume that means a town, but maybe it's some sort of ruins. *sigh* I like that they mixed this up with some randomly placed maps, but I am dumb so this is hard for me!
Your image is of the Zere area, I'm fairly certain. Slightly southwest of the town.Kinitari said:Those are trees! And it's not Batsureg or the place north of batsureg =/. Hmm, that could be. I'll guess I'll take a real close look next time I bumpKinitari said:I thought that happened to me, but I realized I was just reading the 5 text as a 6.
Man, that was some scary stuff. I was in over my head but somehow managed to pull a victory out of my ass with a critical strike with the last character still alive, my minstrel. What a great feeling .Forkball said:So I got JACKED by. Level 1 dungeon my ass.Equinox
Hyunkel6 said:Are the armamentalist's skills worth investing in? It seems to me that they are only good if you know (can guess?) the enemies' elemental weaknesses.
Thanks. That's good to know. I got all the mage skils I wanted, and wasn't sure to which class I should change my wand mage too. I guess I'm gonna go ahead and change to a wand armamentalist then.Instro said:From what I've read the element aspects dont really penalize you, so even if you have the wrong element you still get an attack and defense boost at least.
So basically the Fource skills raise attack and defense regardless, and you also receive an elemental boost against w.e elemental attacks an enemy might use. Not too bad, Ive heard light and dark force stuff is pretty useful in the late game too. Obviously theres a big bonus to pick the right element but I imagine its not too hard against bosses considering they use alot of elemental attacks.
Forkball said:Ok I just. What are some good places to grind? I'm going to play around with classes before I continue on, so I want an easy place to grind, preferably with many metal slimes.got my ship
Also I asked this earlier but no one answered: is priest to ranger a good switch? I've read that rangers are good for healing and can dish out pretty nasty damage as well.
Ravidrath said:So at what level do Grottos start getting good loot? I could really use some Agility Rings and Sorcerer's Stones.
I've done a handful of them now, up to level 11, and the best thing I've gotten so far is a Magic Water.
Also, what determines the boss you get? Is it random? Or is it just, like... Level 1-10 are Equinox, 10-20 are Shogum, etc.?
