Sorry if it's been answered a million times, on 360 does anyone know how much space is required for us texture install? And does it make a huge difference?
Near the end of main story spoiler questions so I'll spoiler tag it all
I went to the great wall, beat the two wights (they had like no hp and I didn't get to pick up their drops cos the cutscene started..) , then the dragon showed up, crushed the cultist and talked to me.
But there was no affinity cutscene? Nothing? I thought this is supposed to be when it shows up?
I had 4 npcs with maxed affinity btw... but there was nothing? Is this normal ?:\
My next quest is to go to the dragonforged and then the final battle.
You can change appearance. Go to the encampment and buy Secret of Metamorphosis from Johnathan. You can change appearance of your character and main pawn unlimited times.Finished on normal for the first time. Pretty good game with awful quest system.
There is no way to change main character appearance? Should have created some ugly shit if I knew that it's visible in cutscenes.
Not exactly, you get the Art of Metamorphosis at first which only works once, but in the post game you can get Secret of Metamorphosis that works an unlimited number of times. You can change appearance. Yeah, you done goofed.
He gives the quest "Chasing Shadows" if you didn't goof. Completing Chasing Shadows then unlocks Madeleine's Shop, which then opens up another quest etc.
But I did that quest before the cult quest, and her shop is open. So, considering that, does he offer anything else in addition to that?
And far as I can tell it's like in Saints Row: complete character recreation. I may need to use it sometime just to fix the shitty mouth on my main character, though I'm also throwing around the idea of sort of "swapping" my MC and pawn for NG+.
I like the quest system. Crafted in such a way that promotes multiple playthroughs (because NG+ is done really well here) and of course, further fuels the community aspect.
I hate it.
IMO, a quest structure with multiple exclusive paths and player choices that have real consequences promotes multiple playthroughs. DD just cancels your quests on a whim and immediately hard saves as a way of saying "fuck you", or just hides them in remote locales or ridiculously slim time frames. I adore DD, but it's quest structure is easily it's greatest flaw in my opinion. I'm glad the combat is fun and varied enough to warrant multiple playthroughs, because the quests do nothing for me but make me want to play with a wiki.
Oh yeah...forgot it's only available post-game. Thanks for clearing that up.Not exactly, you get the Art of Metamorphosis at first which only works once, but in the post game you can get Secret of Metamorphosis that works an unlimited number of times.

Wow what the fuck at the final battle ending (idk if there's more after this)
Big spoilers kind of:
If you had affinity with the innkeeper or some random shitty npc this would be really fucking stupid.
I really like the twist with the duke being a coward and the perspective on why he tried to strangle his new wife though , very nice touch as well if you sacrifice the damsel , sitting on the throne all alone and getting the credits and a merciful retry option.
After the story ending what do you suggest I do next? Keep questing? Are there a lot of optional vanilla bosses and cool quests left? I'd rather see all the cool stuff from vanilla before doing BBI.
Even without the angle of fixing a design you don't like it could be worth it just so you can freely mess with character creation so long as you back out and never save your changes.Oh yeah...forgot it's only available post-game. Thanks for clearing that up.

You should be fine then,
What a weird game lol. For me, over several playthroughs, Mason only offered Chasing Shadows after Seeking Salvation.
Did you escort Madeleine to the Encampment before you arrived at Gran Soren?
He should always be in the "safe rooms" like warriors rest and such. I believe there are only two. He disappears from time to time in all other places. Try stepping though the door and coming back or completing a few more rooms before trying the area again. Why does Barroch keep disappearing? How do I get him to come back?
I'm trying to hunt for the following in BBI with no success, I don't even know if they're lv 1 or lv 2 armor, does anyone have the following? And pics if possible?
Persecutor's Mask
Tormenter's Mask
Traveler's Hood
Traveler's Vest
Assault Boots
Crested Armguards
Blessed Sleeves
Novice's Coat
Oh nice if youre on PSN my Pawn is delaney. with that period my PSN ID is Drillingsworth. I wont be home till later if you wanna trade for anything i dont really have much though i have a bunch of mats so in that pile there may be something.I think I have both.

I have all of those except the Traveler's items. The only ones I got recently enough to remember are the Crested Armguards which are level 2.
None of those items look particularly cool except the two masks (I think the Tormentor's mask is a Eliminator helmet)
I think it's jus tmeant to be representing a random mystery item, I know one item requires Great Dragon Horns and they sure as hell don't have the Airtight Flask symbol.Okay what is this stupid item that looks like an airtight flask but isn't an airtight flask? I need it for like EVERY upgrade. It's taunting me. Airtight flasks are literally the only item I know of that has that icon.
So I beat the dragon.
Holy shit at what happens after.
This is definitely one of my top 3 games of the generation.
For a sequel all I want are:
More monsters
More classes
more skills
but by far most important:
A fuckton more of unique looking areas.
After beating the dragon spoilers:
I wish I would've known everything I had was going to get dragonforged :/ Would've looked for better stuff.
LOL
I leave Cassardis and get fucking MOLLYWHOPPED by the first things I run into?
OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG THIS GAME IS AMAZING!
Also, the game is amazingly well balanced on normal mode for the first segment of the game, but then it turns into herp-a-derp idiot proof easy once you hit like level 25. If they can maintain that brilliant level of fair - but challenging difficulty they introduced early on, it'll be golden. The game lends itself so well to high level of challenges the same way the Demon/Dark Souls game do.

Also, about environment change - is it permanent? Liked beautiful locations. Now it's so dark and bad looking.
In the over world, yes. It stays like that throughout post-game. If you start NG+ it'll go back to normal, of course. Also, about environment change - is it permanent? Liked beautiful locations. Now it's so dark and bad looking.
I need help Gaf. First time player and i'm only a few hours in. Having a blast with the game. Decided to go with Mystic Knight, as it sounded like my cup of tea. Though I feel like I don't really know what i'm doing.
Should i be using sword or staff, or is it really up to the situation? How does the magic shield stuff work? What are the must buy spells early on?
If there's any other random advice anyone has for me, i'd be grateful. Thanks in advance.

Mystic Knight is awesome but it doesn't come into full fruition till at least vocation rank 7 or so. The magic shield is a bit of a mystery since if you read a few pages back it isn't clear if it contributes directly to spell casting, but basically the magic shield is how you cast your buffs. The class can be played by either, I personally only sitck with swords because I think it is more fun.
Once you have magick cannon you can enchant your sword using one of your own buffs and cast the cannon with that element and go nuts on it shooting lasers, you can stack cannons ontop of each other (2 or 3 is best) and use an attack like full moon slash to hit it multiple times for fire works of doom.
So really the way mystic knight works I would say is: You have to set up with buffs and then go all out. You can play a little tanky due to the shield and the perfect block system plus a shield enchantment to do some great damage too.
As it is MK I believe benefits from both magick and strength (lean more towards strength but magick helps your buffs and benefits magick cannon as well) unless you're going for a staff MK which only benefits from magick.
It's an interesting class and has a lot to offer it is easily my favorite and I am probably not typing out a very good explanation and I am sure some one will come in and correct me but I hope you get an idea!

Remains that way till you start a NG+. Combined with Bitterblacke Isle, you're in for some lengthy, gloomy hours.

What exactly is New Game Plus? Wiki says "Choosing this option (load your save game from when you complete the game after the "real" credits and it will start New Game Plus"
So, I loaded save and it's still after dragon slaying events. How to start a new game with all items, levels etc from previous walkthrough?

only thing i hate about MK is the casting time, I remember I couldn't even get to rebuff when shit hits the fan.
Postgame is kind of misleading, it should be called postdragon, as the game isn't over yet. That isn't NG+.
After felling The Dragon, you can get a quest titled "Fathom Deep." Doing what is required of this quest and speaking with the quest giver will start the point-of-no-return to the true endgame.
After completing that, you see the full credits; it autosaves after they're done and once back at the main menu, select "Load Game" to start anew with all of your gear/items/levels.
