Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen Steam pre-order is LIVE

PC only dudes are in for a serious treat.

I had all consoles from last generation and the only one I don't have now is the Xbox One, and I'm so happy because I'll finally be able to play
the definitive version of
this game as it is meant to be played. I have 3 copies of the original game (two vanilla e one dark arisen) because I was trying to find the one that wasn't a tecnical mess, without success of couse.

I've played it from beginning to end, but always wishing it was running in a more powerful hardware, be it PC or a new console.

Absolutely agree. Everyone hated it at first, but it's the first thing to come up in any DD thread.

It's the first thing to come up in any DD thread, about how much people still hate it.
I have no idea what vocation I want to play either. Already played Mage>Sorcerer and Assassin in vanilla, but then kind of ruined every other class by playing the Magick Archer in the expansion.

Bought it on GMG, thanks guys!

January 29th? Wut

It will more than likely be tied to your Steam account, not whatever user logs into Windows. Quite a few Steam games have saves in the Documents folder too.

It wasn't technically that difficult on the consoles either. Just save to USB. The advantage the consoles had too that I doubt you'll be able to get on PC was having multiple accounts with the game since it didn't require XBL gold to use the online component. You could then also trade items between your various pawns on different accounts like this too.
You could make couple extra steam accounts and "family share" with yourself.

I haven't actually played the game on consoles so I don't know if that would work in your example.

Bought!

My hype levels are through the roof, I've played the PS3 version twice but made screwups both times; failed missions, missed items & bad romances :P
This time I don't intend to fail or miss anything, can't wait to try again.

Two weeks holidays just started, Dragons Dogma up for pre-order, Sword Coast Legends has a free weekend on Steam, Winter Sale starts on Tuesday, and most unbelievably Routine has an update! We're off to a great start :D

My poor CAD dollar! :(

Hm, you're not wrong, but there is some charm to it. At some point it just becomes more funny than annoying.

The text is legit annoying, but the voices are alright.

Digital soundtrack? Hmmmm so tempting... that soundtrack is pretty darn good, I even wishlisted the CD on my Christmas list. So I guess I should wait til after Christmas in case I do get it (unlikely but eh). :P

If you have a soul you will not look at this option. That pawn chatter is necessary for the authentic DD experience.
Horseshit. I played through DD twice, and I wanted an option to turn off the pawn chatter almost instantly into my first playthrough. I will turn that shit off and never look back.

and that turns it from a pre-order to a wait for a sale game

or wait for a texture mod
.

I'm absolutely expecting that whatever missing things that they can't legally provide (Japanese dub, Berserk armor and anything else) will get modded in based on how previous MT Framework games have received plenty of audio and model replacement mods as well.

But Goblins :(

But how will you know what goblins hate? I just wished they had added a slider for frequency instead though.

This game always interested me on console but never bit because of the performance issues. I think I'll be jumping in this time.

Uh, I thought this game never, ever had a japanese dub. It was always english.

Also why would you want a japanese dub anyway. Wolves hunt in packs!

Uh... i know theres "small" spiders in this game, but are there any giant ones? Im one of those people who faces Mabaris and Bears and cant really bear to look at them :(
