Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen Steam pre-order is LIVE

As much as I wanna purchase me, the rational buyer in me is waiting until the Steam sale just in case.

Also, while I doubt mods are gonna explode without proper mod tools, I just want someone to fix enemy spawns or make them more random, that's the only complaint that I really had about Dogma. Aside from that DD is one of my favorite games of all time, never played Dark Arisen before, so Ima feast hella hard on this release. To those who haven't played it already, you're in for a real treat.

you really haven't played dragon dogma then.

Darn it, I tried to get it from GMG with the 23% off voucher after refunding my Steam pre-order, but the voucher doesn't work for it.
It just says, "Unable to add voucher."
Yeah it expired. Seems like there's another, slightly inferior voucher code, that should still be a nice discount at least.

Will Capcom release the pre-order bonus as dlc later?

The soundtrack will go on sale shortly after launch. Price is TBD at the moment, but figure it'll cost about what a typical soundtrack on iTunes will go for nowadays. We'll include both 320Kbps MP3 and lossless (FLAC) format. FLAC may not be useful to everyone, so we'll try to make that optional so it doesn't auto-download and eat up your bandwidth and HDD space.

The art book was licensed from Japan and Udon Comics as a one-time deal that was put together specifically for the pre-order. We'd want fans to buy the print edition after launch :)

Hey, it's the developer! I just have to tell you, I freaking love Dragon's Dogma. It's one of my favorite games of all time, and I'm pumped to be able to play it on PC. So, thumbs-up to you guys for bringing it over to Steam. Great stuff.

Wow, I'd have paid $60 for this on PC - loved it on console despite being quite rough looking

GMG preorder is a steal with the XMAS20-PERGMG-SVINGS code and very cool get the sound/art for preordering

Pre ordered! - Just because the OST seems to have more tracks that what is currently available digitally. Hoping that the character creation song is in!

How would you get the preorder bonuses with GMG? I preordered from them once before and they just emailed me a Steam code once the game was out.

Based on what wbacon said earlier about making the soundtrack downloads optional, if I had to guess they'll probably just be part of the pre-order package as dlc and will show up on your Dragon's Dogma DLC list on Steam once the game is out, from which you can pick and choose what to download.

Just a guess though, but that seems like the easiest solution.

Thanks for the info. I picked it up from GMG with my birthday coupon. Kinda excited to go back and visit Bitterblack Isle again. This time, I'm definitely max-min my arisen and pawn. Shame I can't have more than one arisen or pawn though.

You're right on the money. That is exactly what we'll be doing. Soundtrack and art book are classified as DLCs and each will have its own unique AppID. Pre-purchase PackageID includes three (or four if we separate out the FLAC version) AppIDs: the base game, soundtrack, and art book. You can pick and choose which "DLC" to download by simply ticking the checkbox on the DDDA app page.

Yeah I'm gonna hold off myself, and hope for a better promo, my backlog is big enough as it is lol

I'm waiting until 25% to pre-order a couple things there. Sadly, the 25% offers have become much less frequent. Probably won't be another until after Christmas since a lot of stuff is on sale before the voucher.

I got a 26% off SFV code via the email list, so maybe one might come that way. Woulda used it then for SFV, but the PC beta wasn't out yet, so I had no idea how it ran.

There will hopefully be one in time for this, RE0, and SFV. GMG +25% off is typically the best pre-order deal you can get for Capcom games.

Pre-ordered so hard. This is one of my most anticipated releases in awhile. I've been waiting so long for this to come to PC. $24 is a steal.

Just got my key from GMG. Wasn't expecting it for a few weeks, so this is a nice surprise.

Now the long wait begins.

just ordered on GMG, been looking forward to this for a long time.

Now Capcom just needs to release Dead Rising on steam and I can play them both forever.

Can you use the 25 percent off coupon with multiple games?

Yep just add them in your cart, it'll show the discount under each game in your cart after you use it. You can also use it across multiple purchases (sometime they'll have a one-time-use code). I think it's only valid for games on this page, though:
