I know my avatar will be moved to this domain soon.

I got the same issue, I've just checked out my credit card and it has been charged with $119. I am not going to kill somebody for this, I needed a new host for my business badly and Dreamhost was my first option but this is utter BS. F*ck f*ck f*ck.Kind of concerned that the $119 figure was quoted on the home page, even though I payed through the supposed 10 dollar promotion. Does everyone else get this on their account summary page?

Vicious said:On the payment screen, I clicked to charge my card but now the page is just sitting there... It says to only click once and that it make take a minute, but it's been about 15 minutes now. The little status bar is sitting at around 40%.
Aggravating.

Odnetnin said:Did that to me too - I just closed it and the account is coming through via email. It should be up (the domain is being generated) in 1-2 days. I am still concerned about being charged $110 usd for a service I signed on, on a whim.
$10 vs $110 is a lot of difference
Funky Papa said:I used the 777 code too, maybe it's a US only offer :/
I'm going to ask them about this.

Solved. I *don't get* how this promotion is old since other people have signed without problem, but hey, kickass.Hello,

That promotion actually ended some time ago... anyways I credited the
extra balance of $110.16 to your account for you, have a nice day!
Thanks,
John
Crap, I already signed up two days ago. Ah well, at least it didn't cost much.Phoenix said:Their PHP hosting is slooooooow. Be warned.
Yeah, that's usually the case with these cheap hosting companies. They offer a lot of space and bandwidth, because it's so cheap these days. Then they cut back on other services.Phoenix said:Their PHP hosting is slooooooow. Be warned.
