Omg you're back!! Praise the heavens! It's really great to see Evolution hard at work trying to fix everything. Even though i've had harsh words about this dlc pack as compensation for all our troubles ( id happily buy the season pass when everything works ) I still want to give you and Evo studios a bif thank you fpr creating one of the best and mpst fun racing games in recent years.
It's cool that we can address a dev directly on this forum. Wanted to say Driveclub is a blast and I've enjoyed it immensely so far and look forward to the future of it. Figured it might be good to hear from someone who isn't bitching about something these days for whatever it's worth. Keep up the good work!
Is it just me or the DLC packs are much harder than the Main Tour? I've tried some of the events last night and finishing 1st is much tougher than I had in any Main Tour event.
Maybe it's just because I haven't played the game in the last week or maybe I'm not used to the new cars (which are fantastic).

Go to the your PS4 main dashboard.
Go to DriveClub but DO NOT click on it (that will start the game).
Once highlighted press down and go to "RELATED ITEMS". The DLC should be in ADD-Ons

Nope.
Nothing but the season pass and the pre-orders cars.
And when viewing the store ingame (which can be found in the Tour Event menu I just now found out) you get a blank screen..

Got the two tour packs, but it didn't come with the DeZir. You go into Photo-Finish and there is DeZir Drift event you select it and it comes up with the DeZir and says you must purchase it from the PlayStation Store... Continue/Cancel. Continue just closes the popup just the same as cancel does...
Anyone else?
Edit: OK the online store has them. Console store doesn't and none of this shows up on the Related Add-ons via the game screen in the OS and all the in-game store did was download the tour packs.

Have #1 on Wester Ross reverse for most of the new cars. Driven every single one sans the BMW and I love every fucking one of them... they all have such grossly differing characteristics and just wrapping your head around them is glorious. The Caterham feels like a caricature of an F1 car with such drastic levels of grip depending on downforce, the electric thing is just a bitch to try and judge corners/speeds on, the little Renault rally-type car is just a beast and a half.
Great selection from Evo in this pack! If this is what each of the packs will be like, I'm definitely 100% in for the season pass.

There is no store icon once you've downloaded the tour packs and when the tour packs were downloaded it doesn't download the M5 and DeZir. The other new cars are part of the Ignition Tour pack, so were downloaded.

OK, I purchased the liveries and two free cars from the online store. PS4 claims they are installed when viewing the add-ons for the game but the game still thinks I need to purchase them...

Same problem as you, but I would rather not do that, digital user here. Won't take very long to redownload I guess but it's not very convenient.

The Twin'Run is a handful!
All the new cars are great additions, some are more enjoyable than others but I like how they all have personalities.
The Twin'Run's handling is incredible, just point in the direction you want to go in. However, it's terrible for long drawn out courses like BHR.
M4 is awesome but the braking distance is disastrous.
X-Bow decides to be a little bitch at the most inopportune moments.
Only one I don't find that fun is the Lykan.

Just played few rounds, and I really enjoy driving Caterham, Renault DeZir, and Mclaren P1, which I just unlocked. Caterham seems even better than BAC Mono. Mclaren's DRS & KERS open a whole range of new possibilities for racing.

Means deleting the whole of the install. I've just done that to no avail, still says I need to purchase the DLC to try them. I'm going to give it another go in the morning.

So after rage quitting and swearing off the game including deleting it, I've been working on the Venom hotlap all week. I finally did it. Now I can love the game again.

Yeah, even just a touch of throttle and you go spinning though, is a bit crazy. I got the time in the end just by giving it opposite lock and fully beans which sent me into the outside wall but at least I didn't 360 and lose more time.

Holy shit, hahaha. I know that feeling, but I've only rage deleted one game - Watch_Dogs. And on the second to last mission no less. I was so done.
Still haven't beaten the Venom lap either, and I think my best is still two seconds over the time, but it'll happen at some point. I have to believe.
Going to jump back in because I love the hell out of this game, but man GTAV and FarCry and Warframe are all vying for my time. Haven't even touched the new Killzone co-op maps either. I'm overloaded!
Got the 500 back when Microcenter lost their minds and had them at $149
Did some two foot Drving today and did very well. Going to take some getting used to but less snap and oversteer. Twin Run was awesome and clocked 1:18.5.
Have you (or any other T500 owner) found a way to access Photo Mode when using it?
New cars and tracks are a blast.
Not sure I appreciate having two M4 in the car roster, though.
Will give it a try.
Edit, nope, touchpad doesn't work when wheel is being used so can't think how to get into photo mode
Off topic but just tried The Crew beta. Wheel was jumping around but it wouldn't steer the car! Pedals worked, feedback worked but steering inputs did not. Weird
Two tips that may not have clicked yet:
* You lose more speed when accelerating early around corners (and stepping the car out) than you think.
* Some corners you can cut more than you realise.
You'll get there! The best way I learned was to follow my own ghost but stay a few hundredths behind, then try taking different corners different ways, see if you make up time on your own ghost. Then string them all together
