Look at all the new info that we are getting. E3 is coming my friends!
Seriously excited this year, it's going to be crazy.

Really? That's the last thing I want to see.I'm super interested to see what MS are gonna show, I'm much less interested in Sony and Nintendo than I imagined I'd be. Rise of the tomb raider is my most anticipated game of the year right now as well, and halo, gears, mmmm.
Uncharted remaster will validate Sony's conference for me doe.
I'm kind of getting weirdly more interested in Microsoft's as we go on? Definitely eager to see what exactly Rare is doing. And also I'm eager to see what the hell Battletoads is, even though I can't imagine it'll be any good. (And I bet it's a Twisted Pixel joint, so that's not inspiring either.)
I think it's just the biggest unknown factor right now. We know Nintendo will bring Star Fox, Fire Emblems, XCX localisation, probably a Pokemon thing, probably Ryu in Smash... and Sony's, well, that's not too hard to figure out either.
It seems like Sony will have a big third party focus this year with Battlefront, BO3, AC Syndicate, MGS5, and Batman. Since they won't have a Gamescom conference, their exclusive side interests me more than ever. Uncharted 4 might get a quick demo, at least a trailer. We'll definitely get the trilogy remastered for this fall. They'll unveil the Ratchet Re-imagining, which will hopefully release this year. Some Until Dawn stuff. No Man's Sky will either be their big holiday exclusive or their Morpheus Launch Killer App next spring.I don't think anyone really knows what Sony will be doing.
But yeah if MS is truly focusing on 1st party software then I'm interested.
Has to be games that are actually coming out though. None of this announcing games 3 years out to make it look as though they have a loaded line-up business.

And for unannounced games:
Horizon: I think it's pretty much guaranteed that we get a teaser trailer. Will be their big Holiday 2016 title.
Sony Bend's Game: Might be there now that the Gamescom conference is gone. Another quick teaser.
Media Molecule: I think they'll save this one for October after Tearaway PS4 releases.
Quantic Dream: Probably a 2017 title at this point so no use in showing it off now. Took them over 5 years after Heavy Rain to release Beyond (which will probably get a remaster) so I'm not expecting anything from them any time soon.
Polyphony Digital: Same as QD but with GT7.
Sony Santa Monica: Definitely working on God of War 4 but I can see it being a March 2017 release so it probably won't be announced until December at PSX.
As for MS, aside from Rare's game(s) and Gears, they pretty much blew their entire load the past two years so just expect lots of demos of announced games.
Really? That's the last thing I want to see.
Nintendo could probably "win" E3 if they pulled a Square 2013 type thing.
Show a trailer (CG or not) of two huge games that won't come out for at least 3-4 years.
Then everybody's happy
Nintendo:
1. Retro project (probably Metroid for 3DS and Wii U)
2. Mario 64/Sunshine sequel

Sunset Overdrive came out like 6 months ago.
I doubt they even have one in the works as of yet let alone announce it in a month.
Sequel was greenlit as soon as the first week of sale if I remember correctly. There was a tweet about it.

Turned out that was bullshit.
If Nintendo stays true to their "focus on 2015 games" then I doubt they'll be able to "win" unless everyone else crashes hard.
Sony's conference better not be mostly multiplats.
This year's really Microsoft's big chance to shine. Sony's conference is gonna be predictable (save for maybe 1 or 2 surprises), and Nintendo's gonna have some solid stuff, but nothing mindblowing (Star Fox reveal, maybe a Mother collection finally, Retro's new project, more Smash and Mario Kart).
Microsoft could really blow us away with their new Rare title, gameplay for the new Crackdown and Scalebound, as well as a few new announcements, and not just killing time with CG trailers, and a long parade of indies like last year. With Phil Spencer taking the charge now, they've had plenty of time to craft a great conference that shows how much they've turned around.
That's one thing I hope changes this year, is less indies on the main stages, especially if they're not new announcements. I don't need to know that Superhot's coming to Xbox One in your biggest conferece of the year, or Talos Principle on PS4. Magicka 2 I can make an exception for, because that was a new game announcement.
I'd also like less announcements of games that are far-off. I loved that Nintendo announced A Link Between Worlds only a few months before release, on stage at E3. Same with LittleBigPlanet 3 and Bloodborne. Both of those came out within a year and we didn't see anything official until up on that stage. That's the kind of announcement that gets people pumped for E3. I was excited for Dead Island 2, but that's not even coming out this year. I want to hear about all the new stuff coming within the next year, not just some CG trailer for a game with an unknown release date.
I think your expectations for Microsoft are a little too high. It's going to boil down to Halo, Forza and Gears again.
Last year they supposedly moneyhatted all the big third-party exclusives, this year they have hundreds of exclusives that Sony just can't compete with.I think your expectations for Microsoft are a little too high. It's going to boil down to Halo, Forza and Gears again.
They already said Rare's new game and a new IP will be revealed (assuming these aren't one and the same). No it's not, they're going to have more than that. You really think they'll announce 1 new game in the form of the Gears Of War remaster? There will be more than that.

Always love the super high pre-E3 optimism for MS.

.
It's going to have the lionshare going by some of the things we have been hearing. Market leadership comes with those bonuses....

Yeah I thought it was 2008 for some reason. Probably too late to change that. I guess a new game announcement from QD is possible but I won't go in expecting it since I might be expecting too much out of this E3 already.Hahah not to be nitpicky, but I read this and it just jumped out at me as impossible, I link the two games very distinctly in my mind with the two different flats I was living in when I played them and over 5 years just wasn't possible. Heavy Rain was Feb 2010, and Beyond was October 2013, so about three and a half years is a fairer round up there. Now obviously we're still not going to be three and a half years on from Beyond until Spring 2017, but I couldn't help update that factoid ha.
Not going to happen.I think your expectations for Microsoft are a little too high. It's going to boil down to Halo, Forza and Gears again.

lol who's saying all that
Not going to happen.
Scalebound, Rare's new project, and a new IP are all confirmed. Those first two at the very least are going to be given a ton of attention.
They only have 90 minutes, Forza, Gears Remaster, Gears 4, Halo 5, Quantum Break, Scalebound, Tomb Raider, Rare's game, Fable, some third party stuff (10 minute AC:S gameplay) PC games (Age of Empires 4) and Indie titles. Those alone would take up some of that time.
Where will be more games but the Microsoft mainstays will be front and centre. Rare's game and the new IP could be the same game and going by their recent history I am not expecting Naughty Dog quality out the gate. I don't see it coming out this year either unless it's a small budget title like Ori or something.
Scalebound will get gameplay but I expect it at next years E3 as well along with Crackdown. We don’t even know who is developing Crackdown and if it is using Cloud computing 2017 would be more than likely.

Last Year all the third Party games were going to be Xbox exclusive, Fallout 4 etc. This year Phil said first party focus and people are pulling out all the old IP's that have not seen since the original Xbox. Somehow Rare become a powerhouse and have Banjo, Conker, Battletoads and a new IP in the works.
I expect that, and 2 or maybe 3 new games.
Well to be fair they have been bringing back old Ips like KI and Phantom Dust. Rare has been hiring for UnReal Engine 4 and Unity Engine, so I think it's fair to say they may have smaller and bigger title in the works. Rumor has always been that Scalebound is coming out spring 2016.
Ha, we'll see if that actually happens after the Darkside Games debacle.
I am desperately hoping for a new Sunset Overdrive.. PLEASE Microsoft...
