Totally agree with the scores of Mario Kart World and Death Stranding 2.

Both good games but nothing amazing nor significantly better than their predecessors.

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach
This is a grand, unwieldy behemoth of a sequel, buckling under the weight of its features and bombast. In lacking a sense of direction, though, it sometimes delivers in unexpected ways." [7]

Mostly in-line with my experience with the game.

Are those EDGE score counted at the metacritic?

If so this maybe gonna remove the 'must play' tag from DS2.

It'll drop the metacritic score by 0.15
If it's current 90 average is actually a 89.6 that they're rounding up, yes it will.

Yes. They'll add their DS2 review to MC soonish. Here's their MC reviewer page:

Wow. Some 3/10s. Has Edge even given lower? I've only seen them bottom out at 4s before.
  • FBC: Firebreak - 3
  • MindsEye - 3
  • Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour - 3

Please do tell how you come to this conclusion... surely you played both right?
No. We need stricter reviewers. Everything can't just be a 7. Bless them for having the balls to consistently give out 1's, 2's and 3's. They should consider giving 0's too.
We do but if you are saying it something is off.

the recent trailer for Pragmata really made me excited for the game, I just wish it would come out this year.

Isn't this the coward magazine that won't review Hogwarts Legacy? Who gives a fuck what they think.

Yup. Whined about the lack of diversity in FFXVI too.
It's a shame really because I like their more grounded scores, but I can't trust they aren't deducting points from games because of random woke reasons.

They're one of the only ones not afraid to dunk on "critically acclaimed" or fan favourite games.
Unless it's a Nintendo "critically acclaimed or fan favorite" game. Their 10/10 for totk was undeserved imo. It was even more "more of the same" than DS2. Botw definitely deserved it though.

Edge always wants to feel controversial and relevant. It is like they want to gamers to feel that they are like the bible of gaming, the only source of truth, which they want gamers to feel there opinions are so important. Worse they are infested with politics and woke agendas on some of there reviews and articles.

Even if they give good or bad scores on a game, I never trusted Edge. If gamers give importance to reviews, I suggest to base it on Metacritic general average score.
