Playing it on PC is a much better experience. I gave up on it on console because of the controls. The 1st Red Dead is one of the best games of the 360/PS3 generations.

This is exactly why I stopped playing. The controls are even more clunky than GTA5.

It’s a shame. I really wanted to play through RDR2, but so much of the gameplay is just absolute ass.

But that goes to prove that, for a lot of people, gameplay is not king. That’s certainly not true for me; I prioritize gameplay over everything.
