They kept going and going until the character was destroyed. He had no clear goal other than get followers, so he was a wild card, he could target anyone for no reason and make sense, his finisher was protected, for all intents and purposes he was undefeated.

Now, one month later after a match with Cena at wrestlemania: He is a dumbass trying to steal the Cenation getting pinned or overall defeated every week, his goons are bumbling idiots and he's got a little kid with a ridiculous voice and without this stupid shit he could not have walked out the front door of a cage even with his two goons helping.

The character got demolished, what sense does it make, say, for him to feud even with Sheamus now? We get to be afraid that Sheamus won't be able to defeat his idiot who can't win handicapped matches without children? And if he does wins, that just makes Sheamus look even worse. So what happens now? He jobs and jobs and jobs and one year from now we hope he resurfaces with another gimmick.
 
They should have another kid, a little older on the next show, then one in late teens, then one a bit older, then have them all be John Cena from different points in his life, brought from the past.

Then have the Cena from early in his career show up but it's the Cena from an alternate universe played by Darren Young.

Make it happen, please WWE.

I think you are over thinking it. Plus the man who plays Bray always makes it work. I absolutely love the gimmick and tonight didn't change that.

What are you watching it on? Mine has been perfect on PC.
 
I kind of wish Cena vs Bray had gone on for another 30 minutes now.

They could have done the bit where Cena jumps into the side of the cage a few more times.
