Extreme Rules 2014 |OT| The Kane Event

I enjoyed the match. Considering the short build, considering its 2014 with Kane as a main event heel, considering its PG era, it went as well as I thought.

I just want the feud over. Move Bryan on to someone else.

As usual, Extreme Rules is the complete opposite of Wrasslemania. Only this time the roles were reversed and ER was pure shit

Yup. A really well done cut, to be honest. They had to make sure they were placed perfectly to do it right. There is no way they would do this live, WAY to fucking dangerous.

I think they cut back to the live feed when he was driving the forklift, I noticed they changed camera angles.

Liked that last match. Just compare it to Orton vs Cena at RR, where it was just a fucking boring, run of the mill match despite the supposed stakes (Cena's dad getting smacked about by Orton). Here, it actually felt like a fight.

After that cage match I ceased giving a shit about anything, but that match didn't do itself any favours. Pretty boring aside from a couple spots.

This was as bad as WM was good. The disconnect in mood from when Sheamus is talking to when he's not is so staggering. As soon as he stops talking, his shoulders slump, he starts looking down, and just looks so defeated.

"Mr. McMahon, there is a problem with the merchandise sales."

"Oh?"

"Yes. Uhhh.. Daniel Bryan is now outselling John Cena."

"...."

"And now Kane is as well."

"...shit"

I'm sure that match was above a lot of people's expectations here. They used the stipulation well to cover up any deficiencies it may have had.

That table spot is insane. It was safely done, but it's still a huge man going through a table set on fire. Major props to Kane for doing that.

Yes, it looks like the feud continues, and I'm glad for it. It's giving Bryan a credible opponent to go over, and the next match may be an inferno match.

Honestly I feel like this is some bizarro land. That main event was good and Shield vs Evolution was a better match than anything at WM. The rest of the matches were really good too, Cena vs Wyatt was whatever yet again but at least the finish was enjoyable.

It's more to do with WWE signing Irish superstar, Fergal Devitt.

That was pretty entertaining, enjoyed the IC Title match, shield vs evolution, and the title match. Midgets, divas, and Cena were meh to me hard to get excited for any of those matches.

The triple threat was okay I guess, and Russev needs a real foe to fight, or just let him get sucked in the Cena hole and let Bray escape. Overall glad I watched and am still enjoying my WWE network sub

It's weird. He obviously is a likable guy, but his super face character is devoid of any traits that make you want to cheer for him.

Extreme Rules had its up and downs but for only 10 bucks it delivered well enough. Throw in Legends house etc and no complaints

I was entertained by the PPV but 2 points:

1. the WeeLC match should have been in the main PPV, it was better than some of the actual matches we got.

2. WWE really needs to do something about the fucking commentary. They have been awful for a while. Seriously, half the time, they sound bored as shit.

Fave five spots of the PPV:

5 - Paige getting thrown in the barricade
4 - Kane breaking the window with his fist.
3 - El Torito crazy bump on top of 3MB
2 - Headbutt from the top of the lift
1 - Rollins killing himself for our entertainment
-
All in all, the only really good match was the Shield one, thanks to the Shield, mind you. Paige match was meh, Cesaro match was forgettable, even if I liked at the time, I barely remember it, Cena match was horrible and even my low expectations for it proved to be worse and the Bryan match was meh, too, some good spots, but still a 50 year old man doing scripted stuff to a guy willing to do a headbutt from the top of a forklift. Bryan did his thing, but meh, they need another emergency creative meeting for tomorrow Raw.
