I think she's involved in some substance abuse, she fooled around with a girl in my house -- all things that may appeal to some guys but looking back after sobering up I think it may have been a bit more of a circus than what I'm looking for

What the fuck if true. She's a nurse, this is so not sensible for her position. I mean the girl stuff is ok since you're both are just fooling around but the other stuf....

I feel kind of like more in more of a traditionally female role in terms of my mate assessment. I find myself looking for signs about whether this would be a good mother to children

I'm getting old and slowing down. I just want someone to do nerdy shit with and hang out.. is that so much to ask

No shame in that. I mean in my case what's making the choice tough is the prospect of having something serious. I don't want this 'let's meet up to bang' or casual hook ups anymore, I need somebody that I can commit to. It sounds weird for my age (23, turning 24 this autumn) but I guess it also reflects the rather conservative side of me of having a stable life, kids, home and a legacy to pass on.

It's not weird for your age. I've always been a bit of a homebody too. But it's just getting even more that way as I get older. HN is 7 years younger than me + a bit crazy on top of that but also has good qualities so I don't know

When she wakes up I'm going to attempt to have an adult conversation and feel some things out
