Reread my script and it's definitely amusing at least. Seems to have some pacing problems that might be fixed with more visuals and there is a narrator that shows up halfway that could use an expanded role. There's at least one joke lifted from somewhere else and at times conversations can be a bit too one sided

OG Shirow is quite probably my favourite comic book artist and writer ever. I got to know him through Dominion Tank Police (great zany little manga) before jumping onto Ghost in the Shell and Appleseed, which blew me away. You can easily imagine how uneasy I felt when Manmachine Interface came out and turned out to be 80% fanservice. And his output since then has been nothing but straight up porn. Like with actual tentacles and shit. what. the. fuck.

Ghost in the Shell 1.5: Human-Error Processor was legit, though. Which is almost bizarre when you consider that it came out after Manmachine Interface.

But honestly, Appleseed remains his best work yet. Nobody did 80's actiony sci-fi like Shirow. Even his fan service was totes awesome back then.

Shirow also deserves mad props for creating an incredibly diverse universe. Deunan is mixed (around 3/4 European and 1/4 African) while Briareos is a black Greek.

I mean damn if I didn't believe in morphological freedom my username would be pretty ill-fitting.

I was thinking about getting something subdermal in braille but it seemed less interesting over time.

never heard of braille tattoos but I guess it makes sense.

it's a neat idea but if i did that I'd probably keep it relatively contained because it doesn't have a strong visual presence.

I want Grace Neutral to give me a tattoo. She's based in London. Now I guess I'm jealous of RNH (because to me all of england is right near London).

edit ah. he is pretty close. I guess Brighton is about an hour from London.

yep, we were talking about appleseed last page. I cited it as one of my inspirations for learning to draw.

That just made my mind race about a Logan's Run style multiplayer game.

Like if someone in a game hits a certain score limit or killstreak it becomes an all on one. Or maybe after the match they are transported into another queue/gametype entirely. Or maybe that's the endgame player level type of thing.

I think a branching playlist game would be crazy. It wouldn't work or be successful but it sounds fascinating to me.

Sorta like a ladder?


I had one concept for a game where it's essentially a king of the hill style in the end but it's an mmo. So your goal is to beat the final boss and when you do you become the new final boss. Only way I can imagine that would work is with small private servers

I mean tbh everywhere in England probably seems pretty close in comparison to over there

But yeah, usually takes about an hour on the train to get to central London, I head up there for gigs quite often

Yeah Britain is tiny. I go to Portsmouth regularly and it's super easy to get anywhere.

Vice if like say I wanna go to NYC, it's an 8 hour drive.

You should check out Brighton, it's only a couple of hours from Portsmouth and is way better >_>

I've only been to Portsmouth once for Southsea Fest and had to stay outside in the cold until like 3AM because I was a dumb idiot >_>

I actually only mind if they go through my pics..like why do they do this?!?! anything else is like...eh whatever. I even let some friends operate my Tinder last time we met.

she actually said something pretty cool yesterday. something about how sad songs can also be happy songs because they brought us all together at the show.
I watched an interview with her too..I think a lot has to do with substance abuse?
