I did this when I had my wisdom teeth pulled.
And then a fucking potato chip shard punctured the hole in my mouth. Actually started bleeding again. I got tears in my eyes.

You can set a dentist appointment in the middle of the night? I hope it's nothing too serious. I had a root canal some time ago and I recommend not letting one get that bad, much easier if you just keep it up to date
