really? I almost feel the opposite, but maybe it's because I've been listening to the newer sunny day stuff recently, which is a bit different.

More his supporters. Some would rather vote libertarian than vote for Hillary which makes no sense since Hillary and Bernie agree on pretty much everything and libertarian is opposite and some made rallies to boo everyone at the DNC and fart and stuff. He definitely encouraged the antiestablishment sentiment but he's mostly done good recently and a lot of GAF's anger is misplaced. And tbh its more frustration and panicking than actually anger

She's probably more capitalist than him but they're so much more left than most of the government that most policies that come up they actually agree on. And even a lot of the harder to achieve things they have similar views on like universal healthcare and free college though at this point she's way more willing to take a more gradual path since her earlier attempts failed.
Two of her biggest things she fights for are removing money from campaigns (repealing citizens united) and universal healthcare (in the 90s her plan was called hillarycare but now she support's the ACA and wants to expand it till its universal)

Hillary had the issue of being the liberal devil in the 90s to conservatives and they were so afraid that she would force bill to make really liberal things happen. Because of that they've made up a lot of things about her being a liar and stuff. It was just so consistent propaganda that most people regardless of political affiliation started to believe it and that's pretty much how she gets such huge negatives
Its not to say she's not who the establishment is built around and hasn't had issues with being very politician like but perception is definitely unfairly off
So yeah most opinions kinda suck regarding her unfortunately (also as a disclaimer I was planning to vote for Bernie but got sick the day of Pennsylvania's primary)

It really depends on what you mean by like him. There's always the chance that his policies will seem more mainstream and less edgy in due time, or that they'll eventually have a solid plan of action behind them which would garner support, so that might happen. However, you can't be both an unmoving ideologue and a progressive, so that kind of person is not going to be elected any time soon.

yeah they tighten as the election comes up becuase people start paying attention.
in this case, trump has the advantage when it comes to people not paying attention. hillary clinton, fairly and unfairly, is a known quantity with a lot of negative assumptions about her. Trump is new and will be defined and increasingly hammered over the next months and will take a lot of damage in polls especially once people start paying attention
my politicla views align far more closely with the democratic platform than the republican one, obviously, but as I watch the DNC coverage these people are annoying me nonetheless. I think I just generally find political speakers annoying. Obama is one of the only ones that doesn't annoy me.
Let's hope so.
