The last time I saw my grandfather we saw a movie together just me and him. It was Batman Returns. I was visiting from out of state so we didn't get to see each other that often. He bought me a Cherry Coke and some Twizzlers which I never got to have because my parents couldn't usually afford movie snacks.
He died a few days later, but every time I have either of those sweets, I think of him.

My grandfather is dead though. He had a massive heart attack and prostate cancer and died by 55. Don't smoke kids.

I just peeked into the review thread. It seems generally well reviewed but people are upset about the map? from what I can tell.
it looked more bloodborne-y than dark souls 2-y when i was watching jobbs play but that was like 40 minutes so idk

I tried to figure out what all this panama papers hullabaloo is about and the first comment i saw was something to the effect of "I'm excited to see who from the U.S. will be named and shamed, but I doubt jack shit will be done about it." and I just rolled my eyes.
I swear people get on the internet because their lives are so awful that they just want to throw up their pain on everything else.
Like regardless of the story and people doing bad or evil things, how does someone else's lives being ruined give you any solace. I find it pathetic and I dislike being around it.

People want to blame their problems on others. It's just how it goes.
Its what our entire justice system is based off of, sadly. Revenge instead of rehabilitation. There definitely needs to be some consequences to encourage people not to do things again but yeah its like a bloodlust; emotional and personal.

Essentially. The vast majority of people are not affected by the Panama Papers, but they want the people responsible to lose their jobs/heads because of the things they did.
That being said, this leak is pretty damn huge. A lot of the dealings that they have brought into the light were assumed to be going on for the most part, (money laundering, bribery, shell companies, tax evasion), but having hard evidence of those things going on is pretty big. Regardless of the outcome, it will be interesting to see what this leads to.
It also seems to be overshadowing the oil industry bribery scandal that was leaked a week or two ago.
edit: @Halcyon, the leak is about a Panama company, Mossack Fonseca, that's been operating a shell company business since the 70's at least. They sell "companies" to businesses that are looking to evade taxes or launder money. The businesses can then "invest" in these shell companies which allows them to write the "investment" off on their taxes. The money is still theirs though since they own the company that was invested in. The scale of these dealings and the number of businesses/politicians/countries involved (214,000) is the reason this is such a big deal.

I have been obsessed with finding this mug for like 3 years.
It's from Six Flags, and the only place i've seen it is on Ebay and the guy sells it for like 80 dollars from Thailand. I currently have a fairly boring batman mug, and this one has all the bells and whistles.
It's got a unique over-size shape. It has 3d molding. It has jim lee-ish art and I love the colors. I've tried mailing Six Flags corporate office to see if they still sell them at their theme parks. No response.
It is driving me crazy. It's surprisingly difficult to find batman coffee mugs that aren't the tiny boring cup with the black/yellow logo.

When I was at Magic Mountain in December they had all kinds of DC paraphernalia. You really couldn't take ten steps without running into another kiosk or store with it. I don't know if they have that exact one but there's probably at least ten others very similar to it.
