Santa Company is coming today (at least, the digital rewards with the downloadable copies). 3 pm EST. *Waits*

Can't wait for all these new anime fans to proclaim Rory as best girl.

Rightfully so might I add.
The manga's been in my backlog for ages, but I think it's time to do some research into your claim.

I can confirm the validity of your position. Bring on the anime.

until You come to me

Goddamnit Anno, the expo is supposed to be about animators (this is barely animated) and creativity (this is again Eva)

Stop doing Eva, try making something new.

Hell, this feels less a short, and more a marketing move for the next Eva film.
More Eva is always a good thing.

Oh crap I forgot all about that!

I selected the $59 tier, so I will be getting the Blu-ray/DVD, MP3 album, PDF booklet or art and interviews, and digital copies. They said they shipped the Blu-rays/DVDs on the 11th. Still haven't gotten my Blu-ray/DVD yet.

The whole point of Chiyori is that she's derping her way through the entire Eternal Girl game without even understanding the stakes, and when she does finally realize, she continues giving no fucks. She's sort of there to take the piss out of all of the suffering.

This is only to serve for more suffering when it does happen though.

Because I know much you love ANN guys :p, their AOTY poll
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/survey/505/result

The first positions right now are:

Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun
Barakamon
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders

I was one of the 12 that voted for Oreca Battle, its so good. Obligatory Buddyfight vote too.

A/Z was my highest picked one in their first 10, I guess Im still on the periphery of mainstream anime fans :(

Psycho-Pass 2 - Episode 11 (END)

"It is not society that determines the people's future, it is the people who determine society's future." - Akane 2014

"Hahaha, thanks for watching our dark`n`edgy series where nothing of consequence actually happened, tune in for the movie next year to see Kogami actually return!" - Psycho-Pass Production Committee 2014

Watched the first 4 episodes of Princess Tutu with the gf, who I've been slowly introducing to anime. It's my first time watching it too, and we both really like it. Very cute show!

Kanon ep 3

All characters in this anime get amnesia, nobody remembers anything important for some reason. Makoto is annoying, don't know what to say about everyone else they are pretty random or haven't get enough screen time yet.
Ayu... well she's the more enjoyable character

It has a duck in it, of course it's good. Pretty much anything with a duck in it are awesome. See: Tsuritama, Rage of Bahamut, Duck Tales, Howard the Duck, duckroll, etc.

I've just started watching Sword Art Online...

Is it me or is this anime just a few steps away from being hentai?

Incestuous relationships, tentacles, the list goes on.

When he started interacting with his sister in game, it got a little weird.

Just go 2ch, Sidonia is top 5 of their "top 5 of 2014 vote" currently(Other 4 are Kill la Kill, Nozaki-kun, Ping Pong, Bahamut, the vote will end in Dec 31 23:59 pm)
KLK is my guilty pleasure. I haven't watched enough anime this year to really have a top pick, though.

All these WIXOSS impressions. If I wasn't stuck in watching one of the best anime comedies I've ever seen thanks to a watchbet, a surprisingly decent so far story from the author of SAO, and a mecha anime based off of a manga written by Stan Lee, I probably might have given in and joined in on the Mari Okada fest out of sheer curiosity.

Just started? Sounds to me like you're already a ways into it.

I mean SAO even pulls out one of the tropes used in hentai/porn

Spoiler:
We are not technically related by blood so this is totally ok

selector infected/spread WIXOSS 12 + Final Thoughts

Split cour shows alway slip my mind, because the second half is competing against new IPs, but while I still consider WIXOSS to be a Spring show, the series as a whole is one of my surprises of the year. Analyzing it at the level of "despair lol" feels like it's underrepresenting what the series did. Like BRS (which I don't think was that bad), the show does have things it's trying to say, and it's one of the more inventive takes I've seen on a card game anime.

Instead of the card game itself being front and center, or the lore from the cards being turned into a series, it's more about the kind of people who would play a card game with supernatural powers in the first place. Taking the focus off of the merchandising aspect (and like the anime, I think WIXOSS the game is aimed at the late-night audience) and onto the characters made for something unique, to card game anime and anime as a whole. The finale may have repeated the words of colors and selections a few too many times, but I felt it tied the themes together, and the montage of
the girls meeting their LRIGs in the real world at the end
was actually kinda sweet.

I'm calling it a dark horse contender for one of my favorite shows of the season. The atmosphere is like a lot of VNs I'm interested in, the characters are cute and complex-ish, and it does something with a card game that I never would've expected. I liked it, and I'm glad the show gave me the motivation to watch BRS. This feels like something only anime could do. And that's a compliment.
