Nice. I've been exhibiting at FanExpo for 11 years; I'll be there again this year in Artists Alley, sharing a table with a friend. What do you folks go for the most? Panels? Exclusives? To meet folks?

I go to get my books signed by my fave artists, picking up back issues or trades I missed, some celebrity photo/sign opportunites, some Q/A and toys.
You should meet up with us then. It would be nice to get a crowd of more than the four of five from last year =D
Just going to quote myself in regards to the meet up for those who have low post/page counts.

I'll be down again this year for a meetup outside Fan Expo. I'll have a 3ds XL by then so I'm hoping to get some awesome street passes from whoever shows up.
Sounds like it. Zombi U is supposedly going to be there.
But don't keep your hopes up on it being there. May be confirmed, but not Fan Expo confirmed (seeing it there physically and not as a picture).

I'll be attending on Saturday for the Pokémon meet-up and Alan Tudyk panel. I'll need to supervising my thirteen-year-old little brother though, so I don't think I'll be able to meet up with anyone.

So what's the word on the meet up? Bombshack just reminded me yesterday that Fan Expo is happening this week.
Last year was pretty cool so we were thinking of showing up this year as well.

I'm going to be helping my good friend and his compadres at their exhibitor booth this year, promoting his site (www.omega-level.net), which I occasionally write for. Come see us! We failed to nab an ordinary indie exhibitor booth (the $400 ones) so we were forced to get one of the new premium 8x8' foot ones. I have no idea what they're peppering the space with but I'm just the logistical support, lol!
Feel free to use our booth as a landmark for meeting on the show floor!

Last year there was no wait if you went on Tuesday/Wednesday to grab your tickets. It's pretty convenient.
Yep. Went to replace my wristband last year there a few days before the event started. No one was there and the workers were bored out of their minds.
Any plans on where the GAF meetup will be? If you need a suggestion the Overdraught Irish pub is right near the convention centre on Front Street and a place I go to before Jays games to pre drink. You can check out the website here. The menu is pretty standard pub fare. Unless you guys want something more ethnic. I'm easy when it comes to cuisine, I'll eat anything.

Some one needs to step up and start organizing this thing by setting a time and place. Otherwise it will end up going nowhere. As for me I'd like a place where I could get some ok food. I am going to have to drive home so can't really throw back the drinks along with everyone else.
I've already stated I'm organizing it. I also said that around the middle of this week I'd announce a time/place. Reading = Winning =p

You mean for seminars? I bought my tickers online and I've printed them already; doesn't mention anything about picking up another ticket
I mean tickets to FanExpo, to the floor. I called them and they say those are just confirmations, and that I need to pick up the physical tickets.
Thanks guys. I'm going Saturday, lines I'm assuming will be horrible but oh well. I'll just pick up my tickets that morning, I think ticket booths open at 9 so after that my friends and I will line up for the actual show floor. Anyone else going for Halo 4?
You can pick them up anytime between now and the actual Expo dates at the MTCC. Print out the page that you were directed to when you bought the ticket and show it to the workers there, and they'll give you your ticket. I'll try to stop by tomorrow (I was supposed to stop by today, got lazy lol) to get mine.

If you have the chance, pick up your tickets before the event.
Last year I did the online ticket confirmation thing, didn't realize it was just a confirmation and was standing in the main entrance line (in a decent spot) for about half-an-hour. When the FanExpo people came around to make sure everyone was in the right line they told me to go in another entrance to redeem the ticket. Went in that entrance with hardly a line, thought I'd had an even better spot (since I was in the building, and the line looked smaller), but that line didn't even move until almost an hour after opening, where it then moved very slowly.
My friend who had his tickets, and was actually quite a bit behind me in the main entrance line, said he was waiting for me inside for about an hour.
So if you plan on going early, an actual ticket will get you in faster than the online ticket.
Alright, you know what I probably will. Thanks for the advice. I'll tell my friends to do the same.

The area to pick up wrist bands was a mess today. There was a film crew shooting something and they had the front of the convention centre setup to look like an airport.
They keep the sheet. Just save it to USB and take it into some place that does printing.
