It's really pretty amazing that Jake hasn't had some kind of cancer well before this. All the years of drugs and alcohol has to destroy your insides.

As someone who was actually at that show... what good matches?. Big E vs Cesaro was a rest-hold-fest. Shaemus vs Christian was 80% boring. Reigns vs Bray only became good once it stopped being Reigns vs Bray. Old Age Outlaws vs Usos was a quick match. Bryan vs Kane was okay but nothing memorable. The best match of the night was an 8-man tag match for Superstars.

People pretending the Green Bay crowd shit all over a B+ Raw when it was a C- show at best that was only saved by Brock and Taker.

The Green Bay crowd was terrible. Husky Harris chants? C'mon now.

The Milwaukee crowd fucking sucks ass too. So maybe Wisconsin crowds just blow.

Bummer since I'm a huge Packers fan and I also enjoyed my stay while I was in Wisconsin.

TNA should just become an European wrestling show. Tape like 4 months of wrestling in Europe, 2 in the USA, repeat. Drop the PPVs (because nobody pays for them). Drop house shows in the USA and give their wrestler time to rest or do indies.

I think they end up being profitable on DVD. But now I have to assume they will also end up being content for the Network as well.

Re-watching Shawn-Taker from WM 25. If that match isn't perfect, I don't know what is. Other than Taker almost getting paralyzed, the announcing, the crowd, the story, the presentation, and the actual match itself are just world class. Shame we'll probably never see a match that great out of Taker again.

What are some great Dean Malenko matches on the Network? Never really got to see what the Ice Man has to offer.

Most PPVs from from 1996-1998 had good Dean stuff. GAB 1996 has a nearly 20 minute Dean vs Rey match. Hog Wild has an nearly 30 minute Dean/Benoit match. Another long Rey/Dean match at Havoc 1996. Psychosis at WW3 96. Ultimo Dragon at Starrcade 1996. Dean vs Eddie at Uncensored 1997. And on and on. A lot of great tags with Benoit against Kidman/Rey and Raven/Saturn in 1999 as well.

Gawd damn what a work horse. Not bad for a vanilla midget. Thanks man.

EDIT: Ok that match between Malenko and Scotty in Backlash 2000 was crazy decent for what it was. Absolutely killer finish.

Just above mentioned match with Scotty 2 Hotty at Backlash 2000. It's rad. But he really didn't do much at all during his WWF run and retired about a year after he joined the company.

I really wish I had the same stream quality when I'm doing dual monitor as I do with single. There is just a slight choppiness when I'm running both screens.

Taker almost killing himself aids the aura of the match. It's such a monumental botch that it just adds to the legend like a story passed down generations where all the details are hazy replaced by exaggeration and superpowers.

I'm about to watch the PPV with Eddie/Rey in a ladder match. Gee, I can't remember what that match was abou

You'll be telling your grandkids "I remember when the Undertaker beat Shawn Michaels with a broken neck."

Lol. I can't imagine how little attention Impact will get in WrassleGAF what with NXT airing at the same time and the Network in general. Why watch Impact when you can watch dying WCW?

Ok was Backlash 2000 just one big "We're sorry we know we fucked up with Wrestlemania 2000, we'll do it right" PPV?

Because I honestly see Extreme Rules this year shaping up to be the same way.

Dying WCW will always have my attention more than TNA. I don't understand how people even ironically like/enjoy TNA, let alone unironically.

I was there watching NWA/WCW from the beginning on Saturday mornings in 1987 all the way up until the very last WCW PPV in 2001 which I proudly purchased. I was there for the entirety of WCW. Those were great times up until about 1999.

Edit: I attended my first NWA show in Greensboro in 1985 as a 4 year old.

Nobody in here will pass up Cesaro/Zayn and Paige/Emma to see Impact...right?

I would have loved to been old enough to go to a late 80s NWA show. Those crowds were amazing. They seemed so much more vicious and dug heels way more than WWF crowds did.

I was told by my parents that after one show in Greensboro that I don't remember because I was too young, Tully Blanchard flipped me the bird in the parking lot...as a kid. That's staying in character! Then the 4 Horsemen limo drove out past me and my little brother a little too close for my parents liking and they were legit shook at the time. LOL.

Still have trouble with on demand stuff on the Network. I'm probably not going to end up subscribing until closer to WrestleMania depending on what the actual card ends up being. If I subscribe at all anyway.

I doubt it had anything to do with staying in character. Tully was a true dick head back then and it is likely the driver of the car was drunk or on coke.

King Kong Bundy might have had the worst drop off over the course of a year. Main event cage match at WM2 to comedy midget match 30 minutes into WM3.

Going through the Wrestlemanias makes me anxious because I see so many things to gif but don't want to scoop the other reviews.
