Good. Dudes deserved worse than a mirror ripped off a van. definitely know of girl-friends just full on stopping with putting up with cat calling by getting very aggressive very quick with zero fucks given. especially if they're in groups.

you don't want to piss off a group of women. they'll both get the better of you physically and break you and stunt you emotionally and any growth you may have had in the future.

Seriously ? There's a defense force for these assholes ?

Of course there is...

A lot of people prioritize property above human rights. Just look at those who chastise organized protesting because of the opportunistic looting that sometimes follows.

2 wrongs dont make a right. Shame on both of them

If you go up to a girl and call her a bitch, followed by her slapping the shit out of you.

That's not two wrongs, that's you doing something stupid and getting smacked for it. At best to her, we should say, please to rip off assholes side mirrors. To them, that should be a hefty fine, day in jail, and a court date with a pretty judge. Basically, it's her standing up for herself.

I've never tried to rip a side mirror off a car. Anyone? lol

Most side mirrors aren't held on by much more than screws through plastic moldings, maybe some wires if there are controls on the driver's side to adjust them. Moderate force at most is enough to wrench them out of place if not completely break them off. You do not need a lot of strength.

I mean, technically that's assault. I don't blame this woman one bit for reacting how she did, as being in that position must be infuriating, but she was also in the wrong.

Did he touch her? I would have locked his ass up if I saw that and if she was willing to press charges. Don't touch people without their consent especially when they said multiple times no. Blocking her path, continuing to press the issue, trying to touch her.. pissed me off.

By this blanket standard, if you are an asshole to me I'm allowed to burn down your house?

Damn I dont think I could rip that shit, she got some strength.

Screw those guys for real. We dont need that type of shit anywhere.

you bike a lot, you're basically doing half-pushups constantly on the handlebars

I wouldn't normally advocate for destruction of property in exchange for insults but this was just sort of delicious. you could see her thinking about it too

Man motorcycle helmet cams take really nice video
it's really the only way to go, if you want to catch head-turns and all the rest

I'm trying to figure out how to mount my GoPro to my bike helmet without looking completely redorkulous. motorcycle folks can go for the chin-mount. handlebars absorb tons of vibration which can ruin the picture without time-consuming image stabilization after the fact in Premiere or w/e

These sack of shits put their hand on her? This goes beyond cat-calling and they got off light if you ask me. Good on the female cyclist to let them know they are trash.

Fake or not, this type of deplorable shit happens too frequently all over the world and is the type of shit that keeps me up at night. I hate people that put their hands on other human beings as if they're property.

I saw this thread on mobile yesterday but didn't get to watch the video until today (the other "Let's talk about catcalling" thread reminded me).

Goddamn, she ripped that thing off like it was nothing. The guys were scumbag pieces of garbage. Even before the guy touched her it's sexual harassment regardless. They got what they deserved.

If real, then they had it coming. But everything about the video just seems incredibly staged. The bikers line at the end just reeked of bad acting lol.

Good on her

sounds inconclusive

regardless, it brought up the discussion about catcalling, so it has done some good, fake or not

Curious how this pans out, and I can't agree with "it's done some good, fake or not", if it i turns out to be fake it'll have done more damage than good, as it'll be so easy for detractors to point at it and say, "see, they had to fake it, cause it just doesn't happen", or arguments in similar veins.

It's fake.

Viral agency admits video of female cyclist revenge may be fake

A London-based media company has said a video it published of a cyclist taking revenge after verbal abuse may have been staged.

Jungle Creations said the video, posted on its Facebook channel on Tuesday, failed to meet its usual standards and "may be factually incorrect".

It is fake, and will be an example MRA types point to of how catcalling like this "doesn't really happen." It will have done more harm than good.

Indeed. Hoping high profile of this vid doesn't lead to a boy cry wolf sort of situation. Making money off this is kinda genius but pretty disgusting.
