I still (only) play Fifa 11 today, local multiplayer. Singleplayer for the first few months, then a couple times a week with friends...

just played 1 quick match

technically pc version seems great, 1080p maxed with all the AA runs at a gazillion fps (320 fps during normal gameplay with a GTX480)

gameplay seems nice as well compared to 11 on PS3 , no time to really play the game right now though :(

will buy for PC for sure though ;)

Motioninjoy PS3 pad in 360 emulator mode works fine, so 360 pad should work as well ;)

I could make some comments here but then I would be a PC Master Race Troll

suffice to say I'm thinking very hard of selling my PS3, which since a year has only been used for FIFA and some GT5 anyway

PES12 is no different btw, there my graphics card actually goes into low power mode because it's hardly being utilized ...

edit: and looking from a reasonable perspective, my previous card was a 7900GT which I believe is *somewhat* similar to what is in the PS3 ... that card couldn't even run Mafia II at 15 fps in 640*480 :) which runs 80 fps 1080p maxed now ofcourse

Thanks for that PC link. Definitely excited to try it out and see how it goes. I haven't turned my PS3 on in months and the only game that might have done that for me was FIFA 12, but playing on the PC will be better.

They should push them in the PC instead. I hate that when on the training camp on the PC, if your player has an afro (don't judge me!) you can really see when the high poly model is loaded if you have LT pushed and the camera gets closer.

I mean, I understand they don't want to have 2 different versions to deal with (or 3) so they won't touch the physics or AI for the PC version, but at least let me choose if I want the high poly players displayed all the time. I hate the transition from the normal to the high ones :(

With regards to punishing exploiters, rage quitters, etc they haven't said anything much beyond the fact that they've "built better tools for reviewing and punishing known cheaters."... and these two tweets:

Stupid demo won't install if you have FIFA 11 installed... I had to change some registry keys to get it to work. Will post screenshots in a bit.

For some reason the game doesn't directly support the 360 pad now:

Same Issue here...running fifa 12's 'fifa.exe' does nothing and I have Fifa 11 installed :(

Can you post instructions please?

Also, that means you have to map the buttons with the 360 pad? Or does it work out of the box but you have to select one of those controllers?

It supports the 360 pad out the box. No need to configure anything. If you have an unsupported USB controller or arcade stick, you may want to unplug it.

It works out of the box if you choose the one with the ABXY buttons.

As for getting it to install just go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\1DC6AEF331AE7EC47AE47AA4A4A0B7C5

in regedit and change it to something else, like HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\1DC6AEF331AE7EC47AE47AA4A4A0B7C5BACKUP

As I understand, demos on xbox works from a burned dvd. So you could download it from somewhere and burn it to a dvd and play it :D
