Not the actual limit. We reached the "can we get playing time at positions that we want to play" limit. If you have 20 people on the roster and the majority of them want to play striker or a-mid, you have a problem.JWong said:So you guys actually reached the limit?

Huh, yeah. Totally. I'd love to play every position, no idea why people are so keen on the offensive positions. Some players could even do a rotation if everyone is good on more than one position.

Have you played real soccer? Its not boring at all and immensely important to break up the pace of the opponent. I imagine its not different here or the opponent will use the same tricks over and over again on your AI defense.

Been a GK since I was old enough to wear gloves, only really stopped because my appendix blew up. It's more fun to play attacking positions because it's not real football. It's a video game, and in it, there's very little praise saved for right backs.

Hm, I think some sort of rotation system would benefit you, wouldnt it? So that you wont have AI defense and still everyone gets to play in every position now and then.
I dont know... but it seems like a waste to me to have the complete defense only AI controlled.

Ugh... whatever. At least we get some Chase & Status.
CPU maintains insane discipline and positioning defensively (especially after a few updates), which is hard to replicate with a group of humans. It is nice to have at least one person back there though who can patrol the cheaper passes, like Viz got really good at doing.

They recorded new and supposedly better english commentary this year though. I'll definitely check it out first. Who knows.

The commentary is pretty good for PL teams and European giants, but God damn, it sucks for everyone else. "Little Aimar", lol, ok. Give me some history, you cheap fucks. Would be cool to mention European finals that we played against Milan, United, Real, Inter, Barça... I'm just saying.

Yeah I play it with the sound turned down but that could be an easier solution. You've actually heard my ~120 song FIFA playlist that keeps getting updated when I find good FIFA songs. Back in 10 I just listened to Sunset Rubdown's Dragonslayer the whole time, though.

I played defense last year because I knew my skills on the ball weren't even half as good as most of the guys we had on the club. I kind of took a liking to it after I figured out the nuances. Good human defenders are gonna be even more important now that the ANY can't just go around pressing people anymore.

I always play as Some Random norwegian team (when I am not playing as Eevrton) and the Commentrary sucks real hard. even for Everton, its only Saha and Cahill. And, no, you can't just put interns into a team as a workhorse and expect great results. What you think may take a couple hours will end up being several dozen hours in the end.

any moron could come up with a better menu system than fifa's garbage though. it's pretty clear the team really doesn't care much about presentation. hey doesn't stop me from buying the game so don't paint me as a hater but it's been a valid complaint for years now and yet the menu system (amazingly) gets worse every year and very little is done w/r/t presentation. pes still does presentation better even though they've been completely dominated in basically every other area so i'm giving credit to the fifa team by saying it must not be a focus
FIFA 11 wasn't that good for sure, but PES flashy icons etc aren't really that great functionally. PES also doesn't have half the game modes that FIFA has to deal with.AstroLad said:well i didn't say a couple hours.
