So after spending almost 200 dollars to get Xrd up and running again on a wired connection - it's the worst its ever been for me. Didnt have a jsingle good match and every connection in my region was 0-1 bar connections.

The game was good to me online on my old PS3 when the Ethernet port actually felt like working, so it can't be my internet in general. I'm salty as fuck right now.

Whats the psn speed test looking like? Have you tried to play against someone with a reliable functioning connection?

I'm from Toronto so generally the populated east coast lobbies net me 2 - 4 bar connections. I only see 0 - 1 if I'm in a west coast lobby, but even then the lag usually wont go above 7f.

This reminds me that dark force was like the greatest waste. There was an opportunity to make char specific modes that were really interesting but it's basically just used for some invul frames in sticky situations.

Early on there were some issues when doing crossplay that you didn't experience does ps3-to-ps3 or whatever. It's since been resolved through patching though.

If you watch the Jeff Schaeffer videos he pretty much says Tomo quit when he discovered girls. I'm pretty sure he also quit because he had zero competition. He had no reason to stick around when no one could beat him. A lot of people quit when New challengers came out because it was slower than hyper fighting, and ST pretty much did nothing for the og scene, and practically killed the old school style of street fighter. People hated supers a lot. Lose 50% health for doing low forward? Ya, that didn't impress people.

I would if Xrd was my main game but it isnt. The amount of things I gotta remember with this girl is already high enough, which was made painfully obvious by the set I had with RookieJet today breaking my big 4 month break I've taken from Xrd. I've already forgotten most of her execution timings and neutral shennanigans....And with the patch, not only are they nerfing her but they're making her execution even harder than it was before....I aint got time for that. Arc just dont want me to play her >:|

I find it interesting how for this reason, Valle said he would've quit if he beat Daigo at A3. Glad he lost, because he ended up giving so much to the community later.
