I'm switching majors next quarter, so once I figure out how my new course load/curriculum will be and some other stuff, I'll see about going.

Definitely want to start going if they keep doing Smash Sundays though!

Oh wow. Weren't you Computer Science or something before?
basically all you have to do is occasionally press start (or is it A? it doesn't really matter) whenever home-run contest or the like shows up, everything else is automated

so you can't actually leave for several hours, but you're free to do anything else
you could play another fighting game while grinding customs in Smash 4

I guess I'll try over the weekend...

Yeah, switching to Computer Information Systems. It's very similar to Computer Science but more practical web/app development and business oriented as opposed to the in depth science/theory of everything.

Hoping it'll work out better.

Super Arcade's new location is roughly the same distance to me, but I think people driving from the north or northwest will have it easier.

woah. I always liked Daigo's Yun back in the AE days.

Hows Yun in Ultra, anyways?

That's my major, haha. Hopefully it turns out better for you. At my school though, my requirements are basically the exact same regarding computer classes. Just mostly the math and cognates that are different.

Kosmos is on HoC playing Team Nemo.

Well, should we call the 2015 Evo UMvC3 champ early

Thanks! :D I'm looking forward to the change. Traditional Computer Science has been such a wall and I haven't been enjoying it all that much. Doesn't help that the CS professors at my school are all mostly shit when it comes to actually teaching. That and Calc 2

Fuck Calc 2

well, if he's not in the initial roster he's a total lock for DLC so I'm not worried. in fact, it might be better that way.

the question is, who's going to get the fire??

What? Not interested in learning enough math to be a few units away from a mathematics degree once you're done with CS?

I don't like math that much nor am I good enough at math to do so

It's all good. Math is a huge deterrent for a lot of CS majors (myself as well the first year or so) but having friends in physics helped a lot.. CIS is also a solid major, and some schools are starting to offer BAs in CS to skirt the heavy mathematical requirements. You already made it to Calc 2 so you're probably beyond the necessary math for CIS right? Either way, good luck!

Nah I have one more econ class, a business stats class, and a business calc class that I have to take as support classes

But it'll probably be easier than Calc 2

Watson said on /r/kappa he just got a license to operate in Azusa and haven't actually picked a location yet.

Weird announcing that they are already moving.

Well he was top 3 (prob #1 depending on who you asked) in vanilla USF4. His hit confirm into shoulder red focus was too strong. So they nerfed the stun on his shoulder (and meter gain), and nerfed his rush punch . So probably in top 5 now but definitely not the monster he was in vanilla AE...

Haha, that's Computer Science for people who can't do the real deal.

I did the same thing. 2.5 years in CS before I switched.

Well I'm in the last semester of my CS major and I feel like a decent amount of the theory courses were unnecessary.. And I unfortunately double downed on that to finish quicker and I'm taking a pretty ugly grad level algorithms course.... Terrible decision.
